Baking soda
Just how important is it?
Would it make a huge difference if I made scones without baking soda? |

its a rising agent so pretty important, you can probably use self raising flour though.

it's pretty important, you can even use it to remove the yellow stain and smell you get on the clothes near your armpit! it does so by neutralising the PH level of the garment.

I never put baking soda into scones I use self raising flour and they work really well.
