There's a thread in Broadcasting about it.

But for those years the channel was owned by Virgin Media and is now owned by Sky, I bet that has something to do with it

..and not likely to happen. Challenge and Pick are probably just glitches and will likely go back to encrypted soon

maybe theres a glitch i watched cinemoi last night for 10 mins ok
i pulled my FSFS Card out, it asked for the card
i put it back in cinemoi was still on FTV (it needed the card in the box)

After 10 mins it went to the upgrade screen but was definitely FTV

I only have a FSFS Card and haven't had a subscription with sky for yrs

If so it's taking an awfully long time to fix. I doubt they'd let Sky Sports/Movies stay FTA for so long

i don't think it is a glich, i think it is on purpose to pouch FSFS viewers over to subscripion

Challege TV on SKY

I got the new Sky Booklet today from a Sky Stall and they are advertising Challenge as a Free channel and without a need for a Viewing Card,
is this because Challenge is now available on Freeview?

Since it's Sky promotion material, it will be referring to Sky/satellite. It looks like Challenge will be staying free to air..

You have published false information on this site before so I am calling for you to scan the leaflet and put the image up on this site

Presume Pick TV is also going to stay FTA as well too considering that seems to promote Sky's channels and programmes more than Challenge does.

When I can get to a Computer with a Scanner, I will be uploading this Booklet/Image and it will be on my website, I will give you a Link to that website when it is up and running,
I will be very happy to do that

If anyone or if you do manage to get the Big Sky Booklet - the A4 one, it is at the very Bottom of Page 8

Challenge is mentioned before CNN

The Booklet has a Picture of Toy Story 3 on the Front Cover
