He definitely told Ian about Charlie. That's why Ian got the hump with Helen: she'd seen Adam and Charlie playing tonsil tennis at some ball or other (NYE at Lower Loxley, perhaps) and told Rob, who blagged it to Ian. Ian got the hump about her not telling him directly, because she's supposed to be his friend.

Which was one of the less believable story lines in my opinion. I can believe that Ian may have been well miffed that Helen didn't put him in the picture, but not to the extent of cutting her out altogether. Especially as he didn't cut out Adam who did the deed and only Helen who failed to tell tales.

Furthermore the Ian character we have come to know is far too pragmatic and intelligent to stop talking to anyone in such circumstances. He would know that to become party to such a piece of information puts that person in an impossible situation. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't tell.

He can come and live with me. I am not far from Ambridge. He could be at Grey Gables in no time.

Storm front over Blossom Hill cottage - hurrah.

Now Peggy has had a taste of the real Rob too.

I think Rob told Ian about Pawel too - Jenny told him about Adam's 'lapse' when she was tipsy. Of course Rob swore to keep it to himself, but didn't.

That poor baby is going to grow up very confused. Either that or he'll think his dad's barmy calling him by a different name!

His dad is barmy, and his mom

Oh dear - poor Rob did sound very distressed

One hopes the shock won't impede his recovery in any way.

It was very thoughtful of Peggy to take the photos for Rob and Ursula to see but it was a tad insensitive telling Rob the names Helen had chosen particularly the Archer surname.

Having said that I do think it wound up Rob enormously! Hee Hee!

Lilian also sounded suspicious of Rob, saying she wouldn't have liked to get the wrong side of him. She's got the measure of him.

. it was a tad unbelievable that she hadn't reckoned Rob would be opposed to the Archer surname.

It was superb though

I was half expecting his stitches to split open when he exploded with rage.

Maybe it was her way of testing his temper.

She's no fool, that Peggy, I wouldn't put it past her.

Blossom Hill belongs to Peggy doesn't it.

Seeing that the swine is claiming sick pay from Bridge Farm isn't it about time they started charging him rent?

Is Rob likely to get permission to go and see the baby, does anyone know?

No idea. I fear for Henry in all this if Rob does not get his way

He's going to use Henry as leverage.

It's totally in Helen's hands. If she doesn't want to be 'persuaded' to send him a visiting order, I don't see how he can see the baby without her permission. I would say at this moment Helen is unlikely to co-operate.

Depends what sort of 'persuading' Rob and his solicitor have in mind.

I'm furious that he seems to be improving.

As for his behaviour, he was in the wrong allowing Peggy to see just what an obnoxious bully he really is.

Just wait Rob as you are heading for BIG trouble now. Peggy sits down to nobody.

Bring it on.

She'd better not co-operate.

I can't see it though.

Anyone else think Henry is going to be packed off to boarding school asap?

Or sacked him! I imagine they're afraid because of Henry

I think Rob will keep him close, to prep him for the case etc.
