She didn't really want to take the case, something in her past Inguess.

Maybe she came up against Rob's lawyer previously and he lied and cheated his way to victory.

Has Pip really not got a clue that Rex has the hots for her?

I didn't know until today that Josh Archer is played by Celia Imrie's son.

He's going to be stony broke after compensating for the eggs fracas!

Ah so Anna's prosecuted a Rob type in the past, failed to get him convicted, and he went on to kill. Then the anguish of that made Anna's relationship fall apart.

Everyone involved in this seems a complete flannel.

Let's hope that Anna can get her head together. It's bad enough that Helen isn't very forthcoming.

I wonder if Anna is going to use the titbit of info Henry let slip and kick Rob's stick away as he walks away from the witness box so undermining the trust that can be placed on his testimony?

(was there something like that happen in an episode of Ironside?)

What was the info Henry let slip? I must have missed that.

That Rob doesn't actually need the stick anymore even though he made a big play of using it during the child custody hearing.

Almost as disturbing as Pipkins .... ugh - the Hartley Hare puppet gave me the shudders.

Thank You!

Seems Anna ia a bit oversensitive. Most barristers would just shrug off a loss in court as just one of those things. She must be quite fragile to have let it get to her to such an extent personally and work-wise.

She, Pat and Helen will end up wailing in harmony in the final court hearing!

Considering what many of you said about Henry the other day, I had the pleasure of speaking with my nephew (well I say nephew, I haven't got any, he's my cousin's son, and he calls me 'uncle' )

He is five years old and we were having a long chat about the forthcoming summer holidays. He is coherent, chatty, and can actually hold a pretty sophisticated conversation.

Henry is nothing like that, he sounds like a toddler, and the way the Archers communicate with him is practically babytalk.
I've just realised how totally unconvincing they've made the character.

Caz giving Helen a lesson in the bleedin' obvious.

Is this the turning point where Helen's understanding of what's been happening to her transmutes into a resolve to pulverize Rob in court?

Well done Caz for making Helen begin to see exactly how things were. Hopefully Helen will get on the phone to Anna asap and tell her everything she needs to know to nail Rob.

In the scenario that Helen does prove her case of self-defence - what would happen to Rob? Would he just walk away scot free to start the whole cycle again with another partner?

I imagine Rob might find himself answering charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. At any rate his reputation would be shattered. He and his family would be chased out of Ambridge by a mob wielding torches and pitchforks while the audience collectively play their microscopic violins.

That rat, Toby Fairweather! Rex is going to be heartbroken, but maybe it's the push he needs to do something himself.

Also Anna needs to grow a pair if she's going to defeat Demon Rob!
