True. But the impression of HOW she said what she said will have/may have a big effect on the jury. Just because the prosecution and the judge were trying to shut her up doesn't make what she said unsaid

The jury might well start to wonder how come every woman this innocent hard-done-to man is, on his account, mad or malicious. Just how unlucky can one man be?
Thank you.

She and Nigel Havers are the only ones I've identified.

Glad they've stopped talking over each other.

If she is convicted it will be send a horrendous message out to women (and men) who are in abusive relationships and thinking of coming forward.

Since when have lesbians felt it necessary to murder their husbands in order to enter a single sex relationship.

BTW Have the prosecution established any sort of motive for Helen attempting to murder her husband?

Listening and am soooooo annoyed.

My experience of being a juror was in an attempted murder charge in a High Court in Scotland and our deliberations/discussion were as far removed from what I am listening to as the North Pole is to the South Pole.

This is simply outrageous.

It was making me hope I never get called for jury service, as I couldn't bear to be part of anything like that.

Can't believe some of them want to rush into a verdict when so much is at stake for the people involved

I think it will go against Helen, an awful jury.

This is very much like one of the juries I sat on. Possession of a firearm to endanger life. Had one guy who kept saying he was guilty of attempted murder and wafting the gun around. One who never said a word. A jury foreman who kept closing down discussion based on admin procedure. Chaos.
