Lizzie's in a win-win situation now. Feeling randy, call Roy and tell him she's stubbed her toe. One thing leads to another, fireworks, post-coital small talk nonsense, then she throws Hayley and the kids back at him. Give it a week, and then she gets a splinter...

She'll just claim her feudal rights to shag the servants. |

So Jennifer and John T weren't at it after all - it was all in his mind. Lucky old Jen. Wonder what she'll spend her windfall on. I thought the letter John left Jennifer was a bit odd. The way he went on about Carol made me think she might have poisoned him or something
![]() Jenny seemed a bit suspicious too. Perhaps she will follow it up, after all, she owes Carol one for the nasty comments at the funeral. Then again John could have just been a bit paranoid...

Seems like (be still my beating heart) they have solved the Pip problem, ie that she can't act. Now they just refer to conversations they had with her. Genius.

Did anyone else have a problem with The Archers podcast for yesterday evening's programme? Seemed to download but would not play. Used a different podcast app and that *did* download and play so I am wondering if it was down to me messing around on my phone moving podcasts from phone memory to SD card? Will wait to see what happens this evening ...

I reckon if Roy were posh Elizabeth would be prepared to break up his marriage. All this blowing hot and cold is because she doesn't fancy being permanently and openly stuck with a common as pig muck son of a serf.
Lizzie will probably find an excuse to seek out Alice to find out what it's like living with a good looking social inferior

i agree, i don't like the thought of them having a bit of how's your father. its nearly as bad as sid and jolene and the shower scene. it is only the cows that can have rumpy pumpy, but then lizzie is behaving a bit like a heifer.
![]() What's the betting Elizabeth will be pregnant?! 47 years old so could possibly happen! |

She is only a farmer's daughter herself and, as I recall, not seen as a suitable match by Nigel's mother which was understandable given her wild child past.

Oh yes, I remember Julia not approving of Elizabeth now - I really liked Julia. Elizabeth is a farmer's daughter, but quite a well off farmer with plenty of land

Can't wait for the affair reveal, but I'm guessing this will be a slow burn story

I always found Julia's snobbery a little overstated on that score. |

So the cat is more or less out of the bag now then with the locket incident.
who wrote that storyline? a GCSE Drama student? Elizabeth already feels guilty around Freddie regarding his dad etc, and knows he's unreliable so why would she give a package to him, containing pretty damning evidence that she's bonking Roy? Then this package gets delivered to the wrong person, and it accidentally gets opened? Co-incidences abound in Ambridge don't they! Hayley seemed so dejected tonight - because she's figured it out I guess. |

Has Freddie worked out there's something going on between Elizabeth and Roy? He (àlmost?) walked in on them a couple of weeks ago, and then the locket fell out of the package. Roy's told him off once or twice too - a bit of a liberty I thought. If Freddie, who I'm loving at the moment
, has put two and two together, why hasn't he said anything? Hayley is keeping quiet too, and she must be at least suspicious.Hayley definitely knows imo and is just trudging on in a kind of semi-denial. Quote:

Does Jill have an alibi for the time of Heatherpet's "fall"?
