I do hope Helen does do something about the way Rob controlled her. He should be jailed and the key thrown away.

"You sound just like your father(mother)" has always brought any argument in our family to a begrudged end with it's undeniable irony. You can't stay on your high horse for long once you're reminded you put someone else through exactly the same frustrations yourself 20 odd years ago.

Told you! She has a form of cookery tourettes. She can't control it. |

Will Justin change his mind about Rob or, will it be a whole new story? ADam not wanting to work with him, Brian not liking it. It would be the icing on the cake if Justin has a change of heart.

I take it that all the stuff Joe and Bert guzzled was Carol's entry...
that little lot will take some explaining... |

I was a bit disappointed that we didn't hear how cricket practice went. I wouldn't put it past Rob to turn up and expect to be welcomed with open arms.

Of course he would expect that.

Some boys take a beautiful girl / And hide her away from the rest of the world / I want to be the one to walk in the sun / Girls they want to have fun. Cyndi Lauper: Girls just want to have fun https://youtu.be/PIb6AZdTr-A Also Helen and Kirsty are the right for them to remember that as a song from their childhood, so all in all it was quite touching. |

Is Arsula about to become Rob's next coercive victim? The sound of her treading on eggshells is almost deafening...

Does he really think he will get Henry back? What will happen over Jacks name? He can't be called by two different names.

People will think he's bonkers if he's overheard calling the baby Gideon, when they know his name is Jack. Helen's "It's just a nickname" explanation is a good one, imo. |

The bit about bumping into Henry round the village was a bit sinister, I thought. If he's not allowed to have contact, surely he shouldn't talk to him and stuff? Perhaps he's going to start stalking him.

Rob wasn't given access to Henry but the Judge stopped short of placing a restriction order on him, so I guess he could just 'bump into Henry' around the village - but I agree it does sound a bit like stalking. Reminds me of the visit he made to Jess. |

Goodness, what an utter nutjob he is. Did you hear how he subverted the notice to quit as somehow being something he'd already decided to do, and stupid Ursula just agreeing with him like a nodding idiot.
Yeah, you were going to quit the place weren't you Rob. Yeah whatever - tosser. He's not getting the message is he. Time to push it up a notch. Man the ducking stool; heat the branding irons. |

I thought the Judge recommended that Rob should have a psychological assessment! Maybe that was a suggestion rather than mandatory, I can't remember
