Pip is annoying me so much that if I weren't so gripped by the 'Rob/Helen' storyline I'd pack in the Archers again.
Who the 'eff-word' does that little madam think she is?

She thinks she has a God-Given right to get her own way at all times and seriously needs to be brought down a peg.........or ten.
You go Jill and continue to correct her.
Do not put up with her selfishness.
I guarantee she lives rent-free and now the 'boyfriend' is about to start free-loading too.

Does anyone here actually like that little b*t*h? ”

I haven't liked Pip for years, and when she wanted a new car and was not prepared to have a decent second-hand one that she could afford, she came across as truly spoiled
I think most of the Archer children appear entitled, I wonder if the scriptwriters mean them to be this way. Helen gave her Dad grief when he did not fit in with her plans to have a baby by IVF. Trying perhaps to fit in with the PC brigade where you are not allowed to have opinions for yourself.

Alastair seems to have changed his mind re Shula - from practically ignoring her to sacrificing his business so that she can become Hunt Master. (Can somebody please explain why becoming HM involves so much expenditure?)

As for Flapjackgate, Jill is being a bit OTT but at her age she is entitled to be so. I'm beginning to wonder if there is more to this Fairbrother thing than Grace and Elizabeth's indiscretion.

Pip is a spoiled little madam and that's for sure, she only asked Toby to move in to spite Jill.

Elizabeth was the worst, a real spoilt madam.

Whose place is she living in? Is it Jill's bungalow ?

Pip lives in Rickyard Cottage, I think. Jill used to rent it out as a holiday cottage when she did B&B etc at the Farm when Phil was alive. Suppose it belongs to David/Shula/Kenton/Elizabeth now, but Phil may have left it to Jill.

Jill let out her cottage to Carol Tregorran when she moved back to Ambridge.

Hello lovely Archerites

Missed the evenings last week so had the omni just now while making a cake.

It needs to be said just how much I *adore* the Archers. I thought the way Lilian behaved and conversed with Helen while she helped with the sorting was beautiful - superbly done by both of them. It's so much about what remains unsaid, and how we picture the scene without pictures.

Lynda hahahaha describing her wobble over the summer as a 'pyroclastic flow from the volcano of creativity' Whaaat?!

And then Susan asking her for Annie Leibovitz's phone number Fantastic.

Jill is getting on my nerves. She's becoming even more hooty and desperate.
Did you notice how she's now onto Elizabeth and Freddie trying to prompt cupboard love with acres of flapjack?

I loved the Diane Arbus reference. Anyone not familiar with her work should google it, and then imagine what her Carter family portrait might look like!

How long before Lizzie and Ifty get together then?

Alice was quite funny tonight. I love her plans for the panto - Clarrie as Fairy Godmother, a sit-down role for Joe and Eddie singing. It's going to be brilliant

Linda will have a hairy fit when she hears about it

Must admit I found all those references passed me by in the same way that Linda Snell et al had no idea who the local footballer was they got to open the village fete. As an example, would anyone else on here know that the greatest achievement by any British sportsman this weekend was by Cal Crutchlow?

Rob really is delusional isn't he? So he can't make the Wednesday visitation. Tough cheddar.

Can he not apply to the court for a variation to take into account his expected new circumstance? It is what a sane person would do.

Never heard of him. I had to google him and was surprised to see that he lives at the other end of the island I live on!

I am surprised you don't know him personally. I always imagine the population of the IOM to be quite wee.

Yes, me!

Also a pretty big achievement for Vale, coming from 15th on the grid to 2nd, and a special mention for Bradley Smith, who didn't do at all badly considering he must have been hurting like hell.

Did you see the awful pile-up in Moto 3? I actually felt sick when I saw another bike hit McPhee and him lying still at the side of the track. So glad he's got nothing worse than a broken thumb and a touch of concussion.

Of course he could, but he prefers to ask Tony just so he can give himself something else to feel aggrieved about.

Gosh really? That is double what I would have guessed. I wouldn't expect you to be on nodding terms with 85,000 people.

Wow, how fab to live on the IoM!

Do you hate the disruption during TT week, or is it good fun?

And can we come and stay with you during the racing next year?

Tony makes it worse for himself by getting embroiled in conversation and explanations with Rob. He should stick to 'Yes' 'No' and 'Please hand Jack to me'.

He doesn't have to explain himself or give any reasons.
