I don't see how Rob can get a BL board decision overturned without it going back to the board. And if it did, I hope the board would tell him to do one.

In fact, it's a bit like the Article 50 vote!

Them there country folk are a lot more polite than I would be to Rob. I just can't understand why anyone would even interact with him, especially when he's so damn rude to their faces. Imagine asking the Chairman of the board if he's here to help the beaters

And telling the soon-to-be Master of Foxhounds that she can't ride along a bridleway!

Imagine if he'd said that to Lilian? She'd soon have put him in his place.

I never thought I'd ever say this but Susan seems to be the only one with any integrity. She at least has flat out refused to serve him in the shop.

I enjoyed tonight's episode: the panto in danger of having a cast of one, because no-one will want to tread the boards with Rob, and Toby's business being wound up in his absence.

I daresay he'll go on a massive bender in Brighton and not come back for days, and spoilt Brat Pip will give him the heave-ho.

Has Roy found himself a Bunny-Boiler?

But will she? This will run for a bit.He will play around and she will stick with him.

You're probably right, and Jill will be proved right too.

Better prime the casserole pump, Jill, Pip will be needing lots of comfort food! It'll be like ghastly Jude all over again.

Just like Helen before her, Pip knows everything and will listen to no-one.
He will get away with murder and Pip will always know best.
It won't end until he runs off without her and then she will be depressed and everyone will rally round. Everyone (other than Jill) will be too in her awe to say one word.
Pip and her revolting boyfriend need a big boot up the jaxi.

I'm finding it tedious and repetitious. *yawn*

I've just sat down to listen to the omnibus, only to find myself listening to Alan Bennett droning on. Thinking that the beeb might have accidentally put the Archers omnibus on the Alan Bennett omnibus link I clicked on that instead, only to find Alan Bennett droning on

I'm calling it now. The Borsetshire Blaster (?) is going to figure large in a week or two, courtesy of the resident "joker"

Continuity guy after the Omnibus today agrees with you. Suggested he take Pip with him and go. I love it when continuity comment.

Oh gosh you are right. Never known that happen before.

Good omni

Justin - urgh. Contemptible little rapist enabler.

Agree with grauniad; Roy's one-date weirdo wants immediate exclusivity. **Alarm bells**.

Pip acting strangely - really wanting to sit with Rex at the halloween party and chasing him when he went early. She's already thinking she went for the wrong one. There's a surprise. The unremitting whine-athon when Toby chucks her or bonks someone else will be quite something. Druth will fall at her feet too.... oh God!

Susan and her family photo is palaver is..... omnipresent. They'll probably end up looking like the Munsters.

She sounds like she could be a bunny boiler. I hope he doesn't contact her again.

Lilian lovely with Helen. She's becoming a real confidante and adds that dash of humour, which is so quintessentially Lilian, darling!

Rob's impudence We need to devize more grizzly death scenarios.

Hearing Brian and Adam discussing fields and grain yields is so squirmingly unconvincing I can barely carry on listening to it.... but I do, out of respect for the (part-time, surely) agricultural editor, bless his heart.

I am confused about the field under discussion. I thought it was on Home Farm and not on the estate lands they are working under contract so nowt to do with Rob and Justin?

Lilian is just fantastic atm. I think it's great that they're showing a different side to her.

She's in a tricky position with the place Rob wants to rent though. If she knocks him back, which she surely must, he will go whingeing to Justin and try to cause trouble between them.

If Justin has any substance to him, he'll tell Rob that Lilian's business is entirely her affair and refuse to get involved, but I bet he tries to change her mind.

It is a tricky one. What would be made of someone refusing to rent a house to Adam and Ian because their relationship conflicted with the house owner's religious beliefs?

I'm surprised that Lilian didn't flat-out turn Rob down. She's not going to show him round the property, is she?

I didn't catch it - where is she renting out?

Her own house - nothing to with Justin?

In which case she can refuse to show Rob around or rent it to him. Nothing in law to prevent that, and she needn't explain herself.
Just tell him 'No'.

If she doesn't want to be tactless (though I would just tell him "F*** off" to his face), she can say other people have shown an interest and she has decided to let it to them.

He is not entitled to know when that let should take place nor when they'd move in.

She could, in the meantime, continue to seek out tenants.

I think she'll have to fall back on the FO reply as Rob rang her minutes after the ad went live, so would look unconvincing if she said she'd found someone else.

Yes, it seems it's one of her Amside properties.
