I know some of our 'on-line gang' have no desire to know or read anything about the cast, but for those who do there is an interview with Carolyn Jones about playing Ursula Titchener.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/arti...11116&ns_fee=0 I am still in shock about Carolyn's views. ![]() ![]() Totally agree. She adores Rob nearly as much as Ursula does

*** This is how tragic I am***. To avoid seeing the actress I had o/h copy and paste the text of that interview into a word document!
Totally agree. She adores Rob nearly as much as Ursula does ![]() ![]() ![]() If anyone here remembers Crossroads, Carolyn Jones played Sharon Metcalfe. ''Carolyn Jones was no stranger to television audiences by the time she checked into the Crossroads Motel in 1977, having previously worked on many hit serials including Z Cars, Within These Walls and The Sweeney. In 1977 Carolyn arrived at the motel to work in the garage as secretary Sharon Metcalfe and soon became a popular member of the Kings Oak community. One of the highlights from later years was her storyline concerning the downs child Nina and the social impact that plot had in the real world. Carolyn recalls those groundbreaking scenes as well as many humorous moments behind the Crossroads scenes.'' http://www.returntocrossroads.co.uk/interviews.html |

Poor Clarrie being subjected to Barmouth on her anniversary, especially at this time of year.
Windswept, tacky, and dog poo plastered everywhere. Portmeirion would have been far nicer. |

Rob was especially menacing tonight! He may be biting off more than he can chew by trying to intimidate Lilian though.
And as for getting arsey with Alan the Trendy Vicar ... well. Our predictions re his response to the psych report were spot on. I really think we should be collectively hired as script consultants. |

How strange that he should pick Alan to unload on - but then maybe Alan is the only one who wil give him the time of day. |

I think Rob is getting desperate, trying to infer Lilian is up to no good with Justin. Even one as deluded as he should realise that Lilian holds more sway with her lover than the Estate Manager!

I wonder if he will get to desperation point and take" take" Henry and Jack?
![]() The only one he has is his horrible mum since he is obviously not going to listen to Alan and I hope that he will lose his job shortly and he is going to hang around Ambridge and he is bonkers. The clues are there........

I'm kicking myself, because I saw the Lilian/Justin/Rob one coming and forgot to post it. So, annoying if you miss a 'told-you-so'-chance. Humph!
![]() I think that Rob is lining it up as insurance, just in case Justin rethinks his position at Demara. Plus getting back at Lilian for not renting to him. What he said to Alan was predictable. I think that he'll try and find some way at getting back at Helen, but not sure he's at the hostage-taking stage yet. Btw unless they are going to have Rob muttering to himself I think Ursula and now Alan are to some extent props to get Rob's side. |

I'd like to propose a game:
What about everyone that wants predicts storylines or events. My first one is that the much hyped family picture will be a disaster. Ed scrubs up well, but Chris manages to spill his lunch down his tux just before. (Maybe Ed lends him a shirt?) |

HeatherPet hasn't arrived yet has she? I didn't listen last night.
David has hinted she's too frail to make the journey. If she carks it on the M1 perhaps Jill can stay put. Quote:

Well predicted Welsh-lad. She's carked it and Jill can now move back. Hurray. ![]() ![]() ![]() Is this one too obvious - Pip will soon get fed up of Toby and they will have lots of rows. She will confide in Rex as they are still friends and it will end up in smoochies. |

Was surprised that Rob used his ammunition up straight away instead of using it as a threat. Up till now he's been playing the long-game, gathering information and then using it at key moments (e.g. Adam's infidelity at the stag-do, when he found out about Charlie and Adam 11 months earlier)
So, my next prediction is that Justin will have to chose between Rob and Lilian and I think the idiotic w****r will choose Rob. |

Also, what's this cat and mouse game Elizabeth is playing with Richard? Is she trying to glean if he has feelings for Shula? Didn't think she was that interested in him. Didn't she mention some teacher of Freddie's that might win her heart.

Yes, she did - Ifty or some such. He's a maths teacher who played for or coached the village cricket team briefly.
Might Freddie turn out to be gay, d'you think? I wonder if that might be what his being "unsettled" is about. |

Just listened the 22nd Nov episode.
Alan is being a total berk. Meddling and giving Rob ideas and tips, enabling how him to see how he might manipulate the situation in his favour. "Forgiveness". Forgive Helen for what? Not allowing herself to keep being raped? "You have to figure out fhe best way to be parents to Jack for the rest of your lives" This would be the same Jack the court and the psychologist regard as being at risk of damage from Rob? The best way is for Rob to be hounded and ostracised till he leaves, not be coddled and be given half baked self-help codswallop from that do-gooding twerp. Sorry for letting off, but this episode really narked me. |

Sorry for letting off, but this episode really narked me. ![]() Hounding and ostracising is too good for him. A sound horsewhipping and a spell in the stocks on the village green is the very minimum that should happen. If someone managed to render him unconscious and tattoo "abusive bastard" on his forehead, as a warning to other women, I'd be delighted. |
