Jonny settling in well - nice to see Tony happy.
Where is this story leading? Will Tom return, causing friction?

Ruth and David getting on my nerves - just move already.
How many times does she say "Woaa David" per episode?
And I wonder what that "Woaa noaa" at the end was about.

Bad news, good news? Ruth's mum is dead but we later find they don't choose Route B so all return to Brookfield and normality?

Why is Roy such a plank!

That is not how I would describe him. A plank has much more fibre.

As long as it's all over, very very soon

I think that will probably be how it pans out in the end.

I'm really starting to dislike Ruth just now. She seems to be trying to rush David into moving. And I know she's worked hard over the years, and brought up Archer children, but I don't think she has the same feeling for Brookfield as David. I don't think her family are/were farmers with or without land. I don't know why David is being so agreeable really.

I'm a bit confused by the reasons David and Ruth might move. Being near Heather isn't being mentioned much now - it's all about the new road (always reminds me of the League of Gentlemen ). But if it is just because of the road, why are they looking up North?

Thought Joe was sweet when he heard they were leaving, and it's been nice hearing Eddie too.

That was great - doling out a very subtle verbal handbagging at the shop counter!

As soon as Helen mentioned her glam new dress I had a feeling dastardly Rob wouldn't like it - bet the blue one he chose for her was really frumpy. I'm enjoying Sinister Rob and I love that the story isn't being rushed, but I am looking forward to Rob being unmasked as the devil he is and I hope Pat has something to do with it. She'd have been livid if she'd heard all that business about Helen changing her dress. Of course, if Rob manages to turn Helen into a quivering wreck, who never goes out and sits around in her pyjamas all day, before the big reveal so much the better

Adam cheered up didn't he, when the glamorous girl turned out to be Charlie's sister? He was in a right old sulk before that. Adam is so desperate to get into Charlie's pants it's hilarious (I can't go to Jamaica Ian - I have to be here, ready to drop everything if Charlie decides he wants to take me up the polytunnel ) I don't know why he doesn't finish with Ian then ask Charlie out, but that would be the decent thing so not likely from Adam - the seedy little git.

Jenny's séance - what was that all about then????

Took ages to find this thread tonight; searching on my laptop gave no results so I had to read through all the thread titles till I found it on page 7!

Its a nightmare getting 'The Archers' thread. It needs to be pinned. How do we do that?

Great post

All I can add is a bit more more love for sinister Rob He really is very good at manipulation.

Hasn't something already happened between Adam and Charlie I seem to remember they went out somewhere and though we didn't hear anything specific it seemed as if they had moved on in their relationship. Adam was certainly acting like a scorned lover around Charlie and his sister Anyway where is Ian? Wouldn't he have normally been at that 'do'

When you're logged in go to "user CP" where there should be a list of your subscribed threads which you can then click on. If you haven't subscribed to it, then go to "thread tools" at the top of the page of the thread and click on that, then you can subscribe to it. You can automatically subscribe to any thread you post to by clicking on "user CP", scroll down to "edit options", then scroll down a little bit and you should see a box which says "default thread subscription mode" and select which option you want.

Thankyou, I've subscribed

Didn't realise you could do so much on that user CP bit.

You don't think they are thinking of giving the whole series the chop?

At the least it seems like it is going to be like when Emmerdale Farm became just Emmerdale.

Absolutely! I have a prediction, but I'll save it till after the omnibus as I don't know how to do spoilers.

Helen has a poor track record when it comes to choosing chaps, doesn't she? She irritates the pants off me, and I really can't stand her, but Rob is so NASTY, I'm starting to feel quite sympathetic towards her.

I've been saying all along I want Ruth and David gone but it is going to happen. Oh well hopefully Jill moves in with Carol and Pip moves up North with her Mum and Dad

Anyone noticed that we've not heard from Pip for ages despite her apparently being there and running the farm when David and Ruth were visiting Heather I wonder if there's some relevance to the story line.

Finding this thread is impossible unless you subscribe to it, though I've never done that.
Typing 'Archers' into search gets you nowhere, as is the case with most programme titles on this site. Dumbass system.
You have to trick it - I type 'Pargetter' into search and this thread always comes up first, so try that x

I think it's nice we've got our own Archers hub here on DS.
