I thought Oliver was a bit posh to be Will's dad. I've heard the Oliver chap in a few things and he's always been posh. Will's voice isn't one of my favourites - I always remember when he got Georgie's DNA results and was shouting 'I'm the dad' at Ed and Em
Will is a pathetic whiney immature pain in the neck.

I feel so cross about the way Tom Graham was shunted out that I don't really feel like discussing Tom Archer
... but I'll have to I suppose.
I think (new crappy) Tom will have a showdown with Rob re. who's in control at Bridge Farm. Cue lots of fights between Tom and Helen as she blindly defends her other half.

..... I still hope Sean O'Connor gets chronic haemorrhoids.
I've hardly even known who the producers of soaps are till just lately but this bloke and the Corrie one seem really egotistical. I don't think one person should be an executive producer - the job would be better done by a team.

I'm a bit concerned about the sinister one's plans for Bridge farm. Sounds to me like he'd be happy for the farm to lose its fully organic status, and he wouldn't mind if they no longer bred pure Angus. Really hope Pat and Tom are on the ball enough to stop him; I'm sure he'd manage to convince Helen about the beef, though not the organic status.
Hopefully the Sinister One's evil plans must mean that Tony is going to make a full recovery so that he can be mortified that his herd has been ruined.

Loved Jennifer's reaction on hearing who's going to be the new owner of Brookfield. The way she went on about Druth selling out and so on was hilarious.

She's so up herself, it plainly hasn't occurred to her that to some people £2 mill is a lot of money.

And we have the prospect of nauseating Kate coming home for Christmas.

Have to say I enjoyed Tom putting Rob in his place about the feed and cattle orders Rob made. Hope the sinister one didn't go home and take it out on doormat Helen...

Druth are getting more annoying every day. I really, really want them to go up North. They don't seem tto have noticed there's anything the matter with Jill although everyone else has. Every time I think of David telling Jill he couldn't bear the thought of moving without her it makes my blood boil

David and Rooth have become so effing irritating. They really are just blind to everything except getting what they've now decided they want. Jill needs to blow up, spectacularly, and tell them to sod off. I'd be more than happy to see D&R decamp somewhere far far away and Jill can stay behind to be fabulous and drink cocktails with Carole, but I can't see us ever losing them. Sadly.

Kate is bad, but I'd rather have ten Kates than Debbie. I really hope she doesn't come back. She's started being a cow already and she's not even on! Brian seems to think the sun shines out of her miserable arse and hangs on her every word. I even felt a bit sorry for Adam, but then he started whinging so I stopped

I am just listening to last weeks

Is it possible that if David and Ruth sell the farm, the planning change gets shelved, and the land becomes more valuable again, for building or something. And that's what Justin Elliott was planning. (By the way, you would think Matt would know what was going on)

So perhaps they find out this is going on, and the whole scheme unravels, and they stay. I would be very surprised if David Ruth and Jull actually do get written out of this

Debbie is beyond nauseating, but all the while she's safely stashed away in Hungary, I manage to ignore her existence.

The Aldridge/Macey offspring are all spoilt, with a massive sense of entitlement. I wonder where they get it from?

I don't think the road will go ahead, or the sale to Elliott.

Then we'll get loads more of Jill being pals with Carol Tregorran, which will be great.

They need to add Lilian to their gang, they'd be like an English, rural version of the Golden Girls.

Poor old Heebee - she's heartbroken over all this Roy and Lizzie stuff. So glad her new ipad brought her a bit of solace, poor lamb

Has Georgie Grundy been spending too long at the big house? The rest of his family have rural (if that's the right word ) accents, but he's posher than Prince William

According to the continuity announcer, in tomorrow's episode Charlie has a suggestion for Adam. I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping it's a really filthy one

Is it, "can you come round again with your really big digger? You handle it so well." ?

Seriously, if Charlie doesn't jump Adam's bones soon, I might have to write to Points of View. I could have finished War & Peace in the time it's taken them to reach unholy sexual union.

If you go onto BBC radio iplayer and search for drama, then afternoon drama, you can get the Ambridge cast production of Blithe Spirit! 😊

Enjoy!

I'm getting a bit tired of Charlie's constant attempts to take Adam up the polytunnel. It's borderline harassment.

No, some trees will have blown down on the estate and he'll need Adam and his chopper.

Meanwhile, in other news - Jill's not going to Northumberland. As if we ever thought she would!

Phoebe's iPad paddy was predictable, she's an Aldridge through and through.

Good to hear Tony's not to become another silent character, we have more than enough of them. Now he just needs to regain the use of his legs, and Bridge Farm will be almost back to normal. In fact, it's almost a step back in time, with Tom taking on the John role and Johnny as the youngster that Tom was before he got so into sausages.

Did Adam knock Charlie back?
I'm disappointed, and feel a little bit cheated. We'll just have to see if Charlie takes no for an answer...

Jill's staying

Loved it when she told David (did I imagine that slightly angry tone in his voice?)

I know I harp on about it , but it was so despicable of him to tell Jill he was moving but couldn't bear to do it unless she did too. He made sure to get that in before Jill could talk to her other children too

Now Druth can sod off to Pridda or wherever and good riddance.

I never though I would say this but can we keep the sausage related stories to Tom rather than Adam, please?

As it looks like Adam isn't going to be playing hide the sausage with Charlie I think we probably can

Must say, if that's it for Adam and Charlie, it's a bit of a let down.

I hope the Rob and Helen story has a more satisfying outcome.

So Charlie finally cracks Adam and it is immediately outed. I wonder what Helen will do She was as ever all high and might but her recent history might make her consider whether to tell Ian. Talking of Ian he has been distinctly missing recently so either he is about to disappear for good and the rather intriguing relationship of Ian and Charlie will flourish or there is going to be huge drama between Ian and Adam which is the more boring option tbh

In other news thank goodness Jill is staying and her and Carol are just going from strength to strength However as much as this pleases me as does Ruth and the rest leaving I'm beginning to wonder more and more if this will actually happen. All of the Brookfield Farm Archers seem to be happily spending their money in advance of them receiving it so I'm wondering if the deal will fall apart and this will cause uproar in the family but will mean Ruth and David remain

I also thought it was odd Pip was talking about travelling considering they have just re-cast her so I assumed she would be staying put at least.

Well he is certainly getting more and more sinister...the way he manipulated her pampering day, choosing the dress, hair etc...all very subtle but controlling. It's not going to end well.

I also can't believe his wife will just keep quiet re the baby she's had. I wonder if Helen will get pregnant soon too? It would be the perfect way to control her.
