I never liked the old Pip, but at least she was entertaining! The new one seems too mature and sensible sounding.

Poor Ian! Adam's doing another bit of intensive farming, and muck spreading is not far off.

Given how supportive Ian has been of Helen in the past during her own troubles she would be a cow not to.

Anyone think we have heard the last of Roy? Just a question of how long before someone discovers his body?

They're both her friend and it was actually Ian who gave her relationship some grief if I remember rightly in that he correctly called out Rob as a control freak. However I would normally expect her too but if Adam grovels, begs and promises that it was a one off who knows.

Adam and Ian were off on holiday the next day which also gives Helen time to reflect and it would of course have more potential if she doesn't say anything at this stage.

New Pip's voice is as irritating as the old one's

I've just caught up and I'm afraid I laughed all the way through the scenes where Charlie (in his kilt) got what he wanted () from Adam. If Adam gets involved with Charlie he'll have his hands full..

Wonder if Adam will take his new hip flask to Florida

It's just dawned on me why Charlie was wearing the kilt! I assumed they were just kissing, but now you've made me think it was a bit more than that (should we assume he was going commando too?) gosh I'm so naive!

I honestly hadn't listened to the latest episode when I said this!!! Spooky! 😉

I thought that. Elizabeth will open her bedroom curtains and see him swinging from the treetop walk at Lower Loxley!

Ambridge, the village of wet kissers!💋

We've seen TV programmes over the years showing the sound effects department at work on shows like The Archers, but I'd love to see them doing the snogging scenes. Must be hilarious.

The sounds of kissing and eating on radio turn my stomach. Why people have to talk with their mouths full when eating is beyond me. It's disgusting.

Don't they just slobber all over their own hands?

Yes, he's clearly up for ploughing a new furrow, isn't he?

And it's not so long since Kirsty had a massive go at her for not tipping her off abut Tom's cold feet re the wedding.

I think she'll tell him.

I'd forgotten he was wearing a kilt! That conjures up a hilarious mental picture....

Loving the use of innuendo vis a vis the Chadam situation. I dare hardly say it but Charlie is actually too good for Adam.

How Adam manages to enjoy such bountiful harvests I will never know. I know he's an old hand at the game but I've known nicer rattlesnakes!

Roy needs to get a grip and man up. All that ridiculous snotty sobbing down the phone was absurd, and will cut no ice with Elizabeth. He needs to go out on the pull with Tom and get back to being single.

They should examine the DNA of all the Aldridge/Travers-Maceys. They might be able to identify the infidelity gene.

Brian's always been at it, Kate's had a fling and left her offspring on the other side of the world again, Adam can't keep it in his pants. And Jennifer's no better, if the Tregorran thing is true. How long before Alice strays, I wonder?

Home Farm is like the village bikeshed.

Yes, but that's quite enough about Adam.

I couldn't help but put these 2 thoughts together

To be honest I really wouldn't be too bothered with that ending. At least this dreadful and quite frankly boring story line would be over for us as well. Roy has become despicable and appears unredeemable, phoning Hayley and Phoebe and then Elizabeth as if he's desperate enough to just be with whoever just answers his call. I certainly hope Hayley doesn't get back with him.

Roy has turned out to be a right drip. I wonder if the scripts are written by misandrists? Hardly a decent man among them (I hope Harrison doesn't turn out the same)

Having given it some thought, I have to say you're right.

The only eligible men that I can think of are Tom, who's probably happier spending time with his sausages, Jazzer, who might be fun but can't be trusted, Roy, who's wet beyond belief and Joe Grundy, who's the nicest of the lot but probably past it and leaves a lot to be desired in the personal hygiene department.

Even the men who are spoken for are a dire lot, variously philanderers (Brian), dull (David, Alistair, Tom), too full of themselves (Jim, Matt), feckless (Kenton, Eddie Snr), henpecked wusses (Neil, Mike, Robert Snell) or downright nasty (Will, and worst of all, Rob).

When you consider the lot of them, Eddie Jnr or Harrison are the only ones worthy of a woman's attention.

Ian would be fine, if only he'd start dancing down my end of the ballroom.
