Wouldn't we have heard all sorts of ruptions from Pip. Also how come they were all sensitive to Pip about giving her room to Ruth's mum if it wasn't actually Pip's room Oh well I suppose that at least explains why Jill has to go

A bit off-topic - on Radio Cymru today they were discussing a late Welsh entertainer / actor called Charles Williams, his career and personal life etc.
One thing he did over a very long career was a stint in the Archers.
They played a clip of him in it in 1959, and his character was speaking with Jill... i.e Patricia Greene who *still* plays Jill.
She has acted Jill for nearly her whole adult life - that's quite an achievement.

Rob is so vile. He has to start getting his comeuppance soon, even if it's in small doses. I feel as though the writers are revelling in how evil they're making the character and don't really want it to end, but everyone will get bored if he carries on for too long.
I feel as though making him homophobic is a bit silly, too. I know some people still are, but it's as though they're stopping at nothing to make him as loathsome as possible. Early on, he didn't display even a hint of distaste towards Ian and Adam that I can remember. What next? Have him make racist comments towards Usha just to tick another box?
