Poor old Heather. Taken off to the Great Land of Dodgy Accents.

What a way to go! Pegging it on the motorway, and the last thing you hear is the strangulated tones of Ruth singing My Old Man! You can understand why some people would rather go to Switzerland.

This thread does make me laugh. A good place to discuss the Archery.

Has Rob been pill-fiddling?

I think she probably got pregnant the night he raped her. I don't know how he'd be able to fiddle with the pill, so presumably she's not on it and they usually rely on prophylactics.

At a guess they are available online to look like the popular brands? Is the market big enough to make it worth their while?

Where did you get that from Wouldn't we have heard all sorts of ruptions from Pip. Also how come they were all sensitive to Pip about giving her room to Ruth's mum if it wasn't actually Pip's room

Oh well I suppose that at least explains why Jill has to go I almost feel sorry for Pip having to sleep in the dining room all this time, almost
I'm fairly sure that David mentioned that Pip was sleeping in the dining room a couple of weeks ago. I've also found this confirmation on the official Archers Twitter account https://twitter.com/BBCTheArchers/st...15516370137088

Pip: "Gran's been around with a stew or something"

Uh-oh, the volume of stew Jill will produce during and after the whole Heatherpet mourning is difficult to imagine. Huge brown vats of it.
And kilos of Victoria sandwich sponge.

They'll all be morbidly obese and flatulent by Christmas. The Fartchers.

It'll be comforting fo Ruth when she comes in to find Jill and 2 of her mates stirring a cauldron of stew.

Haha Elizabeth already trying to offload Jill

Jill: "I shan't make any decision until things are more settled" (read: until I'm bleedin' sure Heather's carked it, and we've had the funeral).

Quick Jill, make stew!

Ruth might say she can't bear to have Jill in the house, and David feel so guilty about Heatherpet that he gives in to her

Jill would have to stay at Lower Loxley

I really cant stand Jill, hooting and braying like an old donkey in between trying to buy friendship with food lol.

She will have her feet back under the table at Brookfield before you can say "Ooh those Fairbrother Boys ......"

I don't think she will, I think Ruth will turn on her because her mum is dead and Jill isn't .

I hate to sound flippant, but hasn't it got a bit dark recently? Yikes! I keep wondering what my Uncle would have made of this if he were still here.... Got me on the edge of my seat - die Rob die!

Yes that's definitely a possibility, especially if David and Elizabeth start behaving as if it's a fait accompli that Jill will move back.

Won't stop Jill trying though. She's going to braise her way to Brookfield.

Then there will be lots of conversations between David and Jill - she will be very gentle and tell him he has to be patient with Ruth. Jill will listen intently to every word David says. He will probably get a bit weepy.

Let's face it - Heather carking it should be a result for Jill. She won't let Brookfield slip through her fingers at this stage.

What the hell is it to do with Rob whether Tom and Helen get Fallon to run a cafe?

Now he's got Helen barefoot and pregnant, he'll keep her in the kitchen. What a patronising git he is - 'clever girl' Now he's decided she's having a boy I bet he'll blame her if it turns out to be a girl.

Henry's adorable though

Ruth can't blame anyone for her mum's death. She was an old woman, and had a stroke, so another stroke was highly likely. Did she think her mum would live forever?

Now Ruth is blaming the whole family, especially David for not moving them all up north.

Ah thanks for that I'm impressed that Pip kept so quiet about this. She really has grown up.

I really cant stand Jill, hooting and braying like an old donkey in between trying to buy friendship with food lol.

I lover her and mainly because of her laugh She's the only one in that family I like.

Now Ruth is blaming the whole family, especially David for not moving them all up north.
I was just waiting for that and it came shortly after the compulsory her blaming herself for dragging Heather away from Prudhoe. Was Ruth always this predictable and AWFUL. I've never liked her or David or her whole bleeding family for that matter but I'm sure she wasn't this dreadfully painful in the past.

Rob losing his rag was funny. "What about mine and Henry's future?" he spat. Well, you could secure yours and Henry's future by getting off your arse and finding a job, Einstein.

What's the betting Helen loses the baby after Rob manhandles her? Also, Kirsty's reappearance isn't coincidental. I bet her and Helen will be reunited when she comes rushing to her former friend's aid. Mark my words.

Also, Ruth is being very unfair. I know she's upset, but when she got over David's decision to stay at Brookfield, I'm sure I remember her saying something like "you're right, we belong here" happily. Which seemed to signify the end of the move drama. However, now Heather has died they're trying to get more mileage out of it. Put it to bed, writers.

Rob does lose his rag rather quickly. Looking forward to Kirsty coming back. I hope she sees through how Helen is being manipulated.

She never liked Rob and didn't disguise her dislike when speaking to Lynda earlier this week (not that Ms Snell picked up on it!), so it's kind of easy to see where this is going.

On the same point, I think it's strange how literally no one in Ambridge (other than Kirsty and Adam) seems to dislike Rob. He's been an arse for weeks and has spoken quite rudely to many, yet people seem to turn a blind eye.
