I wish Kirsty had stayed away - I don't like her voice.
God knows why she ever got together with Tom the Sausage, let alone went back for seconds. I wish they'd find a decent boyfriend for her. |

Lynda Snell has managed to secure the rights to Calendar Girls! I am really looking forward to it - especially as Lilian (my all time favourite Archers character) is going to be in it as well! A right Christmas treat.
I was very disappointed when she went and had that stupid facelift. I thought better of her than that. |

Maybe Lillian will take them in. She's always been fond of Joe and Eddie. And Caroline and Oliver are close to the Grundys, too. When are they due back? |

Lillian's my favourite too! Her filthy laugh and love of gin and innuendo make her a great character. And she's not a snob, unlike Jennifer.

I can't help thinking there may be a Christmas miracle for the Grundys, so I wasn't heartbroken. It was sad, though.

In other news, Pat is now crawling on her belly and smothering Rob with kisses. That nearly gave me a bilious attack while doing the ironing, I tell you. Rob also very clever in now turning the management at Berrow against Charlie... not that I like Charlie... but he's the lesser of two evils. |

Talk about mast manipulation. Rob's manipulating everyone now. I wonder if Justin will replace Charlie with Rob.

I like Kirsty. She's principled, intelligent, ballsy and kind.
God knows why she ever got together with Tom the Sausage, let alone went back for seconds. I wish they'd find a decent boyfriend for her. She's ok I know, it's just the voice I can't stand. And when she was so ridiculous about her wedding plans I really went off her ![]() I'm hoping for a miracle for the Grundys too, and I can't see Joe actually going into a home. Wasn't it sad the way he accepted it so quickly? I don't see why Ed or Will can't at least put up Joe for a while, and as other posters have said Lillian or the Sterlings might try to help. What about the vicar too? Is there a vicarage in Ambridge? If so I bet it's huge, with just Alan and Usha rattling about. Maybe Alan should step in with some Christian charity If Joe ends up in a home everyone in that village who calls themselves Christian should hang their heads in shame. |

He is lower than a snake's belly. I'd like the evil Horrobin to escape from nick and murder him. And get away with it. I wanted to kill him myself when he was being so mean about Fallon and Harrison. I also predict that Kirsty will be involved in his downfall. |

Is that the one Phil and Jill bought? And doesn't Shula have a flat at the stables? Roy's rattling around in a 3-bed house, he's got room for them. |

Is it too far-fetched to wonder if Sam the leader of the trip to NZ is also Sam the Stockman?

I wondered that, but then surely David would have recognised him?
Or just got one of those plastic nose/glasses/moustache sets from a toy shop. |

Now that Rob Bitchenor knows about Adam and the picker, what do you all think he might do with this little gem of info?
I can't imagine that he'll keep it quiet, but I can't see how he'll use it to his advantage. |

David seemed to think so too when he heard the name, at least he did a bit of a double take - as much as you can on the radio ![]() When David told Ruth he loved her, Ruth didn't reciprocate. Should we be worried? |

There's a lot of accommodation in Ambridge going spare. Like you've speculated, a lot of it is unaccounted for.
Thing is, I do think we're lulled into the idea of Ambridge being a rural idyll where everyone feels they have pastoral responsibility for each other. The reality would be more prosaic, and if the Grundys were real they would probably have to up sticks if they were evicted. |

If they did finish it would be the equivalent of ambient music being switched off in a hotel lift. No-one would notice, or care. |

He seems like a decent bloke, apart from the hunting, and I'm hoping he leaves Ed some land when he pops his clogs. |

I was laughing quite a lot when Justin went in wherever it was when whoever it was was stripping off (sorry if that doesn't make sense but I can't remember the lady's name or where she was)
