It was Jennifer and Linda having their calendar photos taken in the barn. I chuckled He must have got a real eyeful!

I know he's a rotten swine, but Rob can be very funny, like when he said you'd pay some in the village to keep their clothes on, and I love it when he talks about Adam.

Good call
He didn't even let it brew - he began poisoning Helen straight away.

Depends. If it means Ruth moving away from Ambridge, we should be grateful. If it means weeks of Ruth whining about how badly David's treated her and how he doesn't understand her, and how guilty she feels about about Heather pet, yes, we should be very worried.

We shouldn't worry until she comes back. She might stay there for good.

Next time you hear the All Blacks doing the hakka, listen carefully and see if you can hear a whiney Geordie going "Oooooh noooo" in the background.

She will be mightily peed off when she finds out she was left out of the loop again and not told about David's injury.

Trust Jill to make proper custard...

I know - that surprised me a bit. I thought he'd enjoy dropping Adam in it, (as I would have too ), but really he's only interested in controlling Helen

No chance that William's box contains a winning lottery ticket then.

Awww, that would be fab! I'd love it if the Grundys got rich, it would be brilliant.

There would be weeks and weeks' worth of fun and comedy in their vulgar spending of the money. They could build a massive mock Tudor-Georgian (Tugian?) mansion slap-bang in the middle of the village, and a kitchen (complete with gold taps) that would make Jennifer's look like a squalid pantry!

Susan Carter would have a seizure.

There would be a vacuum then though for the 'lowly peasants, down on their luck' types. For that reason, the Grundys have got to remain poor and unfortunate.

It would be the equivalent of the American Sitcom Roseanne when they won the lottery. It didn't work. The Grundy's with Money. Nah don't think so.

I wonder who will come to their rescue?

Bleedin Rob is trying to poke his nose in at Lower Loxley now then too

Glad Elizabeth shooed him away down to the servants' entrance!

Susan would be beside herself! She would try and dismiss everything they did as vulgar, when really she's the most common of the lot of them.

It would be brilliant. They should do it.

Was the bloke who came into the not-yet-open shop also the contract milker?

I was interrupted at that point. Mr Lakie came home from work and tried to talk to me.

How rude . Archers time is quiet time.

Yes I think it was 'Matthew' in the shop. He wanted bits and bobs like bread, presumably as primary provisions for his Brookfield stint.

I think we are meant to think he is a heart-throb due to Lynda and Susan's menopauses going into reverse as they panted over him.

D

What an appalling thing to do

I don't know if the customer was also the hired milker, but I did get the impression the milker was looking forward to making Pip's acquaintance again...

Rob was really turning on the charm with Helen'a extended lot tonight - told what a great bloke he is by David and Elizabeth. He's really stitching up poor Helen, the swine, I really don't care how long the writers string this story out for as I love listening to Rob and will really miss him when he goes

Elizabeth looked enchanting in her photo, but it seems Susan won't be very happy with hers. I don't like Susan much, but do the writers have to make a fool of her quite so often? Especially as they seem to love the fragrant Lizzie so much. Not only is her photo gorgeous, but she has everyone fussing and well done-ing her because she's so brave to be in the play. What's the betting she finally moves on from Nigel and has bagged herself a new man by this time next year.. Maybe she will even throw caution to the wind and give Roy another go... She could buy him elocution lessons for Christmas.

How long before Rob takes to locking Helen in the bedroom whenever he goes out?

A bit like Harrison then

Pistols at dawn between him and Rex (or is it Toby? One of them anyway)

Pip seems to be the hot totty of Ambridge these days. I'm surprised David hasn't put a chastity belt on her with all the Lotharios sniffing about.

All males under 30 are heart-throbs in Ambridge.

Yes, it's all getting a bit "Gaslight", isn't it?

How will he react if it turns out the baby is a girl? I doubt if he'll feel he same about a little Roberta as a little Robert.

I think it'll be a girl, and he'll be really peed off, and be even worse to Helen.

Obviously I don't want Rob being horrible to Helen but I hope baby is a girl - that will serve him right!

I have to confess I was wondering what kind of underwear David and Graham found in Rickyard cottage and what kind of underwear Pip wears under her farming overalls - something warm and comfortable in this sort of weather I hope.

Elizabeth was rather good in the rehearsal for Calendar Girls. Is Graham going to be the new love interest for Pippa? I agree Toby will be jealous and may get his nose pushed out. I think Pip would be better off with Rex.
