I sort of agree, but that sort of psychological abuse is very hard to listen to. I can understand people wanting it to stop.

Yes, he is a fantastic villain - it's just so horrifying and its only so long you can watch or in this case listen before you are desperate for the victim to fight back or to rescue herself. It's the 'bad thing happens to cute puppy' phenomenon writ large, except that the cute puppy is Henry. It's fantastic work by both Timothy Watson and Louiza Patikas keeping the suspense and tension going this far.
And of course imagining lots of horrific ways for Rob to die is bloody good fun!

Amside? Long forgotten about. It served it's purpose & now it's been put away until SO'C can find another dramatic use for it. The Grundies could be living in Keepers cottage of course, but that wouldn't suit the obvious storyline of them back at Grange Farm for the best Christmas ever.

Surely an excellent storyline requires even a touch of surprise? This, along with just about everything else concerning Rob, could be seen from outer space, by a short-sighted alien! The producer heaps insult upon insult on our intelligence.

I was very surprised when he told Ian about Adam's dalliances. In fact my mouth was hanging open in shocked surprise when I was listening to him.
