That's awful. Did he eventually get out of the relationship? The problem is that if you're in a relationship like that, the control is so subtle that you probably wouldn't notice anything wrong.
Had he been a friend I would have intervened. |

Is that the dog people thought was a goner? I wonder where on earth he's been. Shame he can't talk!

I've just listened on catch up, and I was so hoping it would be Scruff! I'm not ashamed to confess that my eyes watered just a little, it was so lovely.
As a dog owner, I think having a dog just go missing and never to know what happened to it must be terrible. |

For a minute I thought Linda wanted it to be scruff but it actually wasn't (I'm such a cynic). But it was a very touching part of the story. I have to say I did want to hear more of the Rob/ Helen storyline. I'm surprised Helen hasn't mentioned to Rob the conversation she had with Ian. Also surprised that Ian hasn't said anything to Adam yet

Yes, it's all gone very quiet on the Helen and Rob front. I'm slightly disappointed.
Does anyone else think Kirsty and Roy might get together? |

Hopefully we will hear what super exciting Christmas day that Rob and Helen had in the next couple of episodes
Is Kirsty the one whose costume ripped? I get confused with who some people are still! |

Oh the Christmas production, otherwise known as "Who wants a sedative?"
Oh dear - props, knitting, kerfuffle, La Snell. What japes! |

It sounds like Rob is altering the orders to make it seem like Helen is losing her mind.

I can't make Pat out lately. She sometimes seems perfectly happy for Rob to take control, like when they decided Helen wouldn't drive anymore, but she seemed a bit concerned about the job share malarky. I don't think she'll be too happy about the salary going into the joint account either.
I agree Seejay, that Rob might have something to do with the wrong order being placed - it reminded me of when Lewis over ordered olives and Gail got the blame on Corrie. Does anyone think that Helen might be getting a bit anorexic again? She's refused food a couple of times and said she'd eaten earlier. Now Rob is controlling every aspect of her life she might stop eating as a way of getting some control back ![]()

The trailer for the production is really irritating - is that Susan Carter putting on a Northern accent? I don't know why they just didn't stick with their Ambridge accents

It was pretty mean of Rob not to make Henry wait until Helen got up before he opened his presents
![]() ![]() ![]() He's going to eventually separate Helen from everybody, even her own son. |

He's doing a great job of undermining her confidence and autonomy, if she's like this now, wtf is she going to be like when she's had the baby? She's obviously treading on eggshells, or she would have told Rob about Ian being furious with her. I think she's developing anorexia again and I think she might well have quite a severe breakdown. How long will it be before her family and/or friends realise what's going on? Kirsty is still my prediction for being the first to twig. |

In other news, bit of a shocker about Berrow Farm, eh? After spending all that money on it. I smell a business opportunity for Pip and/or the Fairbrothers.
And are Elizabeth and Richard heading for an affair? I must confess, there's something a bit icky about those 2 getting together after Shula had a fling with him. |

I think Pip would probably do well there working with Matthew.Quote:

I think Lizzie and the dirty doc might get together and I think Shula might mind a bit. She seems to be at some sort of turning point in her life - with Daniel off for a soldier and things with Alastair a bit stale. She's enjoying having the doc (I can't remember his name) around and feels a bit territorial about him perhaps - I'm thinking of the party she organised for him. I don't think she's actually thinking of an affair, but if he were unavailable it would bother her. Does Lizzie know about their fling?
I wonder if Justin would have been so quick to cut and run if they'd agreed to name the new village hall after him... |

I think Justin Elliott had plans that depended on the road going ahead, like building a retail park or something. |

Still a chance that a forensic audit at Berrow Farm may uncover Rob's dodgy activities there? And where is he getting the money for expensive necklaces from?

Justin will grovel to Charlie. Rob will get a long prison sentence. Helen's baby will not be Rob's hopefully. |
