Well you were right! He was very over the top about Kirsty I thought

Also, naughty Adam and Charlie!

He's really got it in for Kirsty, hasn't he? I'm quite scared for her!

Mr Lakie asked tonight if Rob was poisoning Helen, and he doesn't even really listen to The Archers. I'm starting to think he might be slipping something in her food, he's always cooking for her and making her drinks. Up till now, I thought it was just the pregnancy and maybe her anorexia back, but I'm starting to change my mind. And there are plenty of dangerous drugs and chemicals around on a farm...

I think Adam and Ian are doomed now. Ian's too good for the Travers-Macey love rat imo, and if they split up I hope the divorce settlement skints Adam.

Agree with all this. He's doing a good job of poisoning Helen's relationships with her friends as well as possibly her food, but would be really do that as it may harm the baby?

Doubt he would risk harming Spawn. There is something suss about the food-pushing though.
Perhaps he's trying to make her fat and inactive so she loses even more confidence?

Not working though, as her knackered nerves are making her lose weight.

Are there perhaps any substances that would sedate Helen but not pass through the placenta to the baby? Rob might have done some research to find something like that. The sinister swine

But did he 'stay awhile'? Or don't we know?

Adam is such a rat. I agree with the previous poster - he and Ian aren't going to last long. Though Ian has gone down in my estimation a bit for going ahead with the wedding and not saying anything to Adam about what Rob told him.

Just think, Adam hasn't a clue that Ian knows about his fumble with Charlie last New Year, or the lad he had in the polytunnel.

Be funny if Ian confronted him about New Years but Adam thought he was talking about the most recent fumble after Jennifer's dinner party.

Adam: "I wasn't thinking Ian. Brian invited us over and I was drunk after Jennifer plying us with booze!"

Ian: "What do you mean? There's been more than one time? I was talking about New Years!"

#busted.

That would be brilliant.

Last night's episode was a pleasant bit of light relief from all the Titchener bleakness, I thought. Some nice comedy with Eddie & Joe and I loved Brian moaning about Lillian still being at Home Farm while Lillian was planning to stay there. Linda was funny too, settling for a shepherd's hut instead of a grotto with statuary and a water feature.

Lilian and Lynda in the same episode and even in the same scene has got to be a treat
One a rather jaded old lush and the other an affected maniacal community champion.
They are superb.

Interesting tonight too - Josh Archer telling Ruth that her dairy scheme sucks
And Ian pointedly probing about Charlie.... Oh dear!

Her heart's in the right place though. She's like one of those people who irritate you half to death but you can't help liking.

I don't think he'd do anything to Helen that might endanger his precious baby. I think it's just a rather heavy-handed signposting for the return of her eating disorder - have him keep offering her food so that she can refuse because she's just had a huge meal elsewhere when we know she refused that because she'd just had a huge meal elsewhere. Rinse and repeat. OK, we get it!

Once the baby's born, though... If Kirsty hasn't seen him off before then.

Are Lilian and Justin Elliott going to have an affair, do you think?

Do we think another new character is going to join to be the new pub chef or is there someone already there that could do it?

Loved Tom (?) giving Rob a piece of his mind about the sausages. Piss off Rob

Kathy Perks? Ex-domestic science teacher turned publican's wife turned full time divorced mother?

And ex-wife of the current landlady's late husband, and ex-partner of her current husband! That would be a bit weird.

TPTB seem to have forgotten that Kathy and Jamie exist. They didn't even go to Doc Lock's housewarming party, and they're his next-door neighbours.

The resident pub chef is normally a non speaking character. Freda Fry never spoke but husband Bert speaks all the time. Freda died after the flood of a heart attack I think. No idea who the current one is.

That black pudding sounds disgusting. Don't know why people are surprised Helen didn't want any.

All black pudding is disgusting Did they mention what the 'secret ingredient' is? Did Joe really remember, or did he make something up? (The mind boggles really )

As for Rob
