get a song with LOADS of "OUMF" for the boys and NOT boring stuff!

I thought that this week's song from the Lion King was the worst! Yes, they sung it well but so what? It was boring! To be honest, I prefered the britney one, if I had to choose.

GIVE THE BOYS A GOOD SONG AND THEY CAN WIN THIS! WIPE SIMON'S SMUG SMIRK OF HIS FACE!!! (It's starting to rubb off on to poor Steve also... LOL)

Anyway guys, after last night I don't mind if Sharon's acts win as long as Simon's don't! I even voted for Cassie once as promised to dudeuk87.

I'm going to watch the repeats now and fume some more!

Maybe G4 should be allowed to sing accapella or with as little music as possible this week? Something like Vienna or Tears In Heaven would be good.

I would love to hear them sing something REALLY powerful! They can pull it off no probs! For some reason California Dreaming and ESPECIALLY Time to say goodbye (with NO hidden message you cheeky ones ) I think would showcase their voices beautifully. Also, ANYTHING from Queen would suit them. C'mon.. it's not THAT difficult to get the right song for them. Simon and Sharon have been getting the right songs for their acts all these weeks. Why can't Louis?!!!!!!! This is so unfair to G4

........well, I think by now enough people have suggested Vienna to him. He HAS to go with a more popular song than the one last night - one that people really connect with. I honestly believe that given the RIGHT song, they can win this competion - I suspect by now the choice has already been made - I will watch This Morning tomorrow to see if he gives us some hint

Think G4 are out next week. Dont mind the group, but louis walsh REALLY annoys me so i wouldnt mind if G4 went out. I'm actually starting to favour simon in this one. Loius is just plain nasty to Steve. Especially when he agreed with sharon and started attacking steve about being a "one trick pony". Now what about G4? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Songs weren't but the style they sung them was IMHO. As i say I do like them. What annoyed me was Louis' comments and attitude, not G4.

G4 are ill-served by Louis, but I still find myself wondering who on earth would bother buying anything they recorded in the long run. Even at their best they don't bring anything new to their 'genre' except bucketloads of unoriginality.

Sharon Osbourne still hasn't got the guts to express her honest opinion of last week's performance.

TBH, she, Louis and G4 are far more smug than anyone else left in this competition! And far less talented.

How come people are falling into voting for the judges rather than the contestants. The show is only about the judges if we let it be.

G4 should do Bohiemum Rapsody by Queen...Loads of people love that song including me and the older generation know it too. Think it would really suit their voices (not britney spears....might as well get them singing merry christmas and that would have been an improvement)

I heard they did that song in the auditions but i never saw it but i would love to see it on a saturday show...esp since they are predicted to be the next act for the chop- might as well make it a good song.

I thought that the Circle of Life was a good choice, but as people have said, it was difficult for people to connect with, as it was very different to the Elton John version. G4 performed it in the cast recording/theatrical style which people may not have liked.

Louis, please let the boys sing something mind-blowing - Vienna or Tears In Heaven or Bohemian Rhapsody. They need to do something acapella, it's what they're suited to. Please let them show their true abilities.

did u not see it on This Morning, even you couldn't fault it - i showed the most critical man in the universe (my dad - not a particular fan of g4) and he couldn't fault it at all.

if they last 'til december, I'd like to hear them do that hymn 'Oh holy night' (embarassingly I know it from Home Alone 1 - where the old man's grandaughter is singing it in the church)

I didn't see it but can't believe it was the only performance they've given that was good enough to win.
I've seen every other performance of theres and seen constant averageness, the lion king one was about the best performance they've done. But I still don't think they cut the mustard.

No, I don't think they've done that but I'll be thrilled if they do because it's my favourite song and I'm sure they'll do it justice.

yes he has, on his solo cd he did when he was about 18. although it was good, i think that song sounds better as a duet so its got a mans voice and a womans voice.

I've got (once again ) an absolutely beautiful arrangement of that for SATB. Could easily be adapted for the boys. I think it would go down a storm

I've got gorgeous SATB versions of My Way (not unlike the one the boys sang on Friday) and Tears In Heaven, both of which were sung at our uni concerts - truly stunning - would love to see them performed on a live show.
