Why can't they go to BBC1 now with the tennis. It's only people nattering about Murray!

Who is this we exactly? Does it include tennis fans or is it just you? As much as I want to see The Hollow Crown, the truth is there are more people who want to watch tennis than Shakespeare (just look at last week's ratings.)

Casualty viewers had their turn last week of being shunted for tennis, at least The Hollow Crown has only been moved an hour.

What and take off an episode of Casualty halfway through, there are a lot of other viewers not just those who want to watch The Hollow Crown.

This is so annoying! I like tennis, but not at the expense of Henry IV! They should've cancelled Casualty on BBC1. Do people still watch that show? I wanted to watch that followed by Witness on Channel 4 + afterwards. Thank you for messing it up!

Now they've started the women's doubles. A bit late isn't it?

And one of them appears to be Tina Turner.

Oh damn, I didn't even realise that they just started. Seriously, WTF? Can't they put it on that red button channel? Don't they realise that everyone has Freeview now.

If they had said 10pm at the start then fine. But the it's off, then we are not sure is a bit amateurish don't you think.

I just hope people haven't turned off and don't miss this because of indecision.

Humax EPG is still only showing a 55-minute slot although TVGuide has this slot down as 1hr 55mins...

They REALLY haven't thought this through - never mind the people watching it - how about the people RECORDING it?

If only there were a way to watch programmes after they were broadcast. Infact, if only there were multiple ways, I forgot the schedules should revolve around your viewing requirements

Give it time, it'll update.

And most PVRs will keep recording even if the EPG doesn't change, just as they would with an overruninng programme.

I rather question the judgement of executives that programme
a major drama event to start when they know things could easily run late because of Wimbledon. Why not just have a couple of repeats on afterwards and really promote the Jeremy Irons stuff when they have a clear run at the schedule.
Too bad if they ve 'got to get it in before the Oympics'
Should have thought of that,It's not bleedin rocket science.

Does anyone care about women's doubles? You surprise me. Still, you may be right.

Still, the best thing would have been to transfer over at the beginning of Casualty rather than run over by an hour.

I'm amazed that the BBC can commission a prestigious series like The Hollow Crown and then treat it so badly. Or maybe I'm not.

You'd be surprised how many people on here have posted just the same thing over the past couple of weeks and were being entirely serious!

Because at 9:10pm it wasn't clear that the ladies doubles would be played tonight, that was only decided shortly before the players came out to warm up, so Casualty had already started.

If the BBC were to 'treat it so badly' they would have cancelled it tonight and shown it late another night. They haven't- they've disrupted the schedule of BBC 1 - which far far more people will be watching - in order to make sure it gets shown. I'd say thats a pretty decent commitment, nothing else they could do under the circumstances without annoying even more people. Its run late by an hour because of some incredibly dramatic and historic sport that millions will have enjoyed. Whats the problem in that?

This will surely be the first time the Womens Doubles Finals has been onBBC1 let alone this late. Wimbledon showing off with their roof.BBC showing off 'we ve got Wimbledon'.and whoever the hell is in charge of the scandalous BBC scheduling should be removed, A travesty,

And deny Casualty viewers another week without their drama (It took a break for Euro 2012).

How can The Hollow Crown be treated so badly when all the Beeb have done is moved it an hour?

The Beeb schedulers have treated the plays with respect, last week airing it on time and this week slightly later.

So you think the - it is cancelled, er, we're not sure, er, it is definitely on at 10 I think - is the right way to keep the people waiting to see the programme properly informed.

Don't mind it starting at 10 or after the tennis packs up at 11 but they should MAKE A DECISION.

well, that's just annoying. i waiting a good 20+ minutes after the 9pm start to see if they said anything, and the last I saw was them saying they would go onto women's and hollow crown wouldn't be on. now they saying it's going to be on at 10pm? I just put a dvd on!

How annoying!!! I wish BBC would just commission a sports freeview channel and free up the main channels for actual programming, espesh one saturday night prime time.

Not everyone likes sports BBC!
