I go to pub Fridays and Saturdays, I have 3 pints of shandy then finish night with a glass of wine, yet I get comments of other people who I know in pub that only drink beer themselves. So they comment why you drinking Wine when you normally have beer. They come in when I've had my 3 shandys.

So should I stick with the Shandys all night or should I finish with a wine.

If you're not adult enough to drink what you want and have to ask for advice on a forum , maybe you shouldn't be in a pub anyway.

I only asked because it annoys me being criticized in the pub, might as well be slagged of on here to.

Thanks for your opinion anyhow

Seems a strange combination of drinks to me but there you go, drink what you like.

Do you not like alcohol much?

Grown up people tend to drink what they like. Next time someone makes a comment, just smile and say "Because it's what I want to drink, of course", as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Which it is.

If people were commenting because you were knocking back nineteen pints of Stella and a bottle of vodka every night, I might agree that they have a point that you need to modify your drinking.

I often finish an evening in the pub with a glass ot two of wine as it's what I like to do, but no-one had ever commented on it.

Because you spend the night in the pub and hardly drink anything.
