hey
got a bush 3DTV at the end of march upon conneting it to sagemcom dtr hd 500 we had problem with sound, so we got a different HDMI cable to see if it would solve the problem but no luck. Have tried the box connected to other tv and it worked fine. Could anyone recommend a compatble freeview hd dtr?
Cheers

Could it be a problem with the TV itself, as you say your box works fine on another TV. It just seems strange. Do you have another box you can connect to your TV to see if you have the same problem ?. I mean you could go out and buy another box just to find out that the problem is still there.

I'm sure others with more knowledge will advise you better than I can. Hope you get it sorted out.

If you do need to buy a new HDR then how about a Humax hdr fox T2, expensive at around £200+ but well worth the cost .

You can record 2 diff channels while watching a 3rd (not sure if all hdr's can do this) but it does come in handy.

The 1TB box doesn't cost much more than the 500GB box either

How about a friend/neighbour or relative with a Freeview box or hdr. I'd try that first before shelling out even more money. That's all i can suggest. Sorry I couldn't be more help

As I posted in the other thread you started on this same topic (helps avoid confusion and duplication if you just stick to one thread BTW ) you haven't actually said what the problem is. Without that vital bit of information it is impossible to offer meaningful advice.

There is every chance that every single box you try could have the same issue. Unless we know what the issue is we cannot advise how to rectify it. It could be a simple setting error in either the box or TV. A couple of minutes with the remote could sort it. And in so doing save you wasting 200 quid or so on a new box that could make zero difference.
