This has been such an amazing experience, it feels great to be here, and the fact I'm in this with three of the loveliest people I know has completely made me feel happy with whatever time I have remaining in the process! I wish my fellow candidates the best of luck!

It's amazing, especially to be here with 3 people as talented and lovely as Jess, Louise & Zak!

While the interviews were definitely a bit daunting, I did enjoy them. It was a nice challenge.

As for which interview went the best, I feel the one with Pete was definitely the most positive, whereas the others were a little bit more challenging. I don't think any of them went badly though.

I did enjoy the interviews this year actually, they went considerably better than I had originally expected - even Aliyah's. I would say the interview that went the best for me would probably be Tyjet's, though I'm not too certain as Pete's went well also.

I quite enjoyed the interviews, it added a slight intensity to the process we haven't seen yet, and it was just us on our own with the interviewer! It really tested our independence, I think they were certainly interesting. The one I'd say wen the best for me is the interview with Pete- as I could prepare for those questions alot better than the others!

The interviews are all scary, but I did enjoy them all, and they all went better than I expected them to in my head! I don't think any of them wen't 'badly' but I think I probably came accross best in my interview with Tyjet, but all three were interesting and challenging in different ways.

So you thought Aliyah's was the worst? Can you expand on that?

And to all candidates, which moment from your interviews would you say was the worst for you?

This is a difficult question. I guess when Aliyah was challenging me about my weakest task. I found it difficult to defend this as I knew there wasn't really any excuse aside from the fact I was useless at it. In general though, I don't think any moments were particularly bad.

I'm not really sure there were any 'bad' moments, but Aliyah's 'Are you a man or a mouse?' question sort of threw me a bit, because I wasn't entirely sure how to answer it, and it sort of made me freak out that people think of me in that way? It made me realise that know that I'm not a pushover or shy or anything, but maybe how I've been in this process might make others think that way, which was kind of a scary thought.

The individual moment in the interviews that I would say was worse for me is when Aliyah started talking about leopard not being able to change their spots- I wanted to answer it in a way which proved I understand that I have done wrong without my answer having a sense of arrogance to it, I think I justified myself well,and explained that a person can always change their approach.

Another one which sticks out for me is being questioned on whether I was a 'keyboard warrior'- I had no clue what this phrase meant, but I was told from a fellow candidate that it meant being a bit of a coward and not facing up to someone in the flesh- it panicked me a bit, as I wouldn't say I cam across like that in reality, and I would say that when I'm talking to someone on MSN, it's not an act, it's just myself, so if people think I'm a coward, then, yeah, that worries me.

I think you did better in the others? In mine, you were very down on yourself, even calling yourself the worst candidate and saying you wouldn't hire yourself!

I thought Aliyah's interview went the worst, yes. Whilst it didn't go terribly, it was generally a less comfortable atmosphere to be in than the likes of Tyjet and Peter. Also, the 'inappropriate' thing was ridiculous and I would like to explain that a little.

I mentioned to somebody else I was talking to that I found Aliyah's question inappropriate and even though I had said this quite clearly in the interview, the random question: "Zak, do you think I'm inappropriate?" appeared and I was quite startled. However, it was misinterpreted in the first place as I made it very clear it was the question I found inappropriate - the calling of a candidate "incredibly lazy" for using the excuse; "I'm not a fashionable person", completely ignoring the part when I mentioned "but I still tried my best". Yes, that was definitely the worst moment of the interviews. I think the rest went reasonably well though? I hope!

In sense of preparation, it would be my interview with you, as although it was negative, I still feel it was very constructive and it was an honest interview, which for me made it more personal! Tyjet's interview went well in my opinion, but I do feel that ours was more personal!

Definitely not. I think it's that little bit more difficult to exude confidence when you're being asked about your weakest task. I also think it's a bit foolish. You have to recognise when you went wrong and not try to cover every single mistake up with false confidence. I feel like I showed I was confident in my abilities in other areas of the interviews, just not that particular moment.

I don't think it's a coincidence, no. I would just say that Aliyah had a slightly different interviewing technique than the other two interviewers and this different approach was slightly more aggressive. I feel as if the interview, generally, still went quite well with Aliyah though so i'm pleased! Also, I don't doubt my confidence in myself, it was just that slightly more aggressive approach that I wasn't necessarily expecting - I thought I handled the interview quite well though.

I think Aliyah is a very professional interviewer, she was very tough and not afraid to scratch at you really hard, she really dug under the surface and was alot more confident in her questions, where as Pete and Tyjet were incredibly nice, Aliyah was very real and questioned every little detail.

I'd say I was very confident within myself, but when questions needed a more serious, personal answer, I think you have to lose a sense of confidence

I think Aliyah's interview was great for me, it made me realise although I'm very confident in my own abilities, perhaps I'm not projecting that confidence so much and I need to put it out there a bit more, which I sort of found to be a bit of a reccurring theme in my interviews, and it's definitely given me something to work on in the future, which is great!

I think that I was hard on myself, Pete told me I was being hard on myself, and I think I came across quite well- I think it showed a more serious side to me, as although I do like to bring a sense of fun, had I paraded around the interview firing off my positives and completely ignoring the negatives, I'd have looked, arrogant and a damn right fool!
