Is this song

a) Dire
b) Ok
c) good
d) Worthy of a brit award

I dressed up as this character for an 80's tribute night last Saturday. I asked the DJ to play this song - and after two minutes he pulled it and he called the song "Crap" - I think this song is dire. Anyone Disagree?

It is 'WTF were we thinking back then' garbage, yes. Although personally I find it easier on the ear than anything by the artists outlined in the very top user comment!

Mercifully it wasn't a trend that caught on; or at least, if Gordon the Gopher, Ed The Duck and co did make any records, they are erased from memory.

I bought "The Cassette of the Album" on LP (loved the cock up title by Errol!) all the singles...I was a bonafide Ratfan....this song is actually a good pastiche of Grandmaster Flash

It was pretty dire, but so are most novelty songs
This one is slightly better, and was inflicted on us by Simon Cowell:

It's got more artistic merit than anything Simon Cowell has ever released

It's certainly not a classic...but Roland is a legend.
