Yep, Flavia/Kristina/Ola would work. He might be slightly too tall for Flavia though. I think if Ola was back, then that pairing would look best.

No no he wouldn't! Jimi was around his height in fact I think a bit taller and he was paired with Flavia I really wan't Flavia to get somone good this year - not really a Westlife fan but I'd be rooting for him if he was paired with Flavia!

As you say he'd also be suitable for Ola or Kristina I'd be very annoyed if the producers gave him to Aliona As much as Katya deserves a good partner - I think she's 5ft 6 so in heels would be around the same height and that could look awkward in hold! There's also the possibility that he could be given to a new pro - I wish the producers would hurry up and confirm the pro line up so we can guess the pairings!

I think he'd be better than Robbie Savage because he does have a performance/showbiz background whereas Robbie is a footballer who'd never performed before. Robbie got to the quarters and I can see Nicky getting further than that.

I had a look at Jimi and he's down as 5ft 10/11 - he looked really short to me!

Aliona's just a bit too tall to feasibly go with Nicky so count her out, that also means Katya's out (although I do think they would look nice together).

I still think that if they got a new pro in then they should have someone at around Natalie's height - Katya shouldn't have had to have lifts put in her shoes last year so she could go with Dan.

I think Nicky could be a Matt Dawson type - a bit awkward and stuff at the beginning but grows into a great dancer. Like I said, it depends on who else gets signed up. If Matt Lapinskas was there then Nicky possibly a semi-finalist at best.

I suppose we all see things differently but to me Jimi looks reasonably tall which he is because 5ft 10 is above average height -they paired him with Flavia because in appearance and build they were well suited - the thing is she is petite but she looks taller than she is because she has excellent posture which is down to her fitness regime - I often think even though she's shorter because of her svelte frame she looks taller than Ola and Kristina - I think in body shape she would be well suited to Nicky.......I suppose we'll have to wait and see - any of those three pros would be a good match for him.

I think it's because Jimi would be the same height as Harry and Robbie Savage - he just seemed short to me, but then again, Mark Ramprakash was 6ft and he looked short to me as well!

Yeah I think Flavia must look taller than she is as she looked taller than Russell last year and yet she shouldn't have been. Flavia tends to suit darker haired people (I did say she and Harry would have looked good together last year).


My money is on Ola - I haven't seen Kristina do a Latin routine yet that wasn't either camp or disco-y (which she has been criticised about) and Nicky looks a bit too serious to pull that off.

An excellent signing for the show - looking forward to seeing him. I hope he gets partnered with Flavia or Kristina. Am really loving the idea of Charlie Brooks partnered with Robin too - another great signing. So far I'm impressed!

Maybe he will go to one of the new female pros. I think there will be a couple of changes to the female pro line up this year. The new pros often get celebs with a bit of natural talent whilst the duffers go to the old guard more often than not.

Not always , Kristina got John Sergent her first yr . Definately think we will have a change to line up this yr though
