If he's got potential I'd put him with Kristina... never thought I'd be saying this, but based on last series I think she's the best choreographer in his height range.

I'd put him with Flavia too if she is back..... I think Ola is the other one who could get him, but don't think Kristina will as he is pretty similar to Jason in height/looks etc IMO.

I think Ola is the toughest and could deal with a strong character/ego the best, but I'd expect Nicky to be easy to get along with.

IMO all 3 are capable of good choreography, but I'd say Ola can come up with something a bit more 'sexy' which I reckon the producers think the show needs to make it complete.

We haven't really seen any of those three completely prove themselves as teachers as yet IMO.

I think there's still a good possibility that Kristina could get him afterall Camilla got Gethin and then Tom on the trot - both similar looking men in height and hair colour - and although their looks were slightly different the height and frame were similar with Matt and Harry when Aliona got them.

Obviously I'd rather Flavia got him as I think she would be the best dancer/teacher/choreographer and I think her body shape is the best fit for him even though Ola and Kristina have more of an overall resemblance to him............as I said before though any of those 3 pros would be a good match for him and although Flavia is my preferred choice I wouldn't be unhappy if Ola and Kristina got him either......just wish we knew the pro line up

This time last year the pro line-up was announced on the 15th June, so we should find out who's staying and who's going etc this week.

I don't think Ola did a great job with Robbie last year really, and the only dance of theirs I actually enjoyed was their Foxtrot. All of the other ones were very samey, and I don't think she would do any better for Nicky this year.

I think both Kristina and Flavia are much more creative than what Ola is although I do think she is a good teacher..... I just don't really rate her choreography.


Yeah that is true about some of the others getting two similar characters two years in a row, so I suppose that could happen again.

I'm hoping that as well as Nicky, they get another couple of young, fit, potentially good males, and then there will be enough to go round and have the makings of a great competition

I am sure the pros find out a few days before the official announcement so it's possible they may have found out today. Nat tweeted earlier 'today is an amazing day' so I am hoping she may have heard today. She was probably tweeting about something else entirely but you never know.....

Spoony had potential but no fans, then 5 that didn't have the dance gene. With that lineup I think Ola created some entertaining routines, so I'd say creativity is one of her strong points.

Robbie wasn't a very good dancer, even at the end. His Latin was horrendous. All Ola does in a lot of Latin routines is shake her booty and dance around the man while he stands still. I hope Nicky gets paired with someone else.

Although as I said before Flavia is my preferred choice in Ola's defence Robbie wasn't exactly a natural - he'd never danced before appearing on SCD - I don't think she's really ever had a really naturally gifted celeb - even Chris Hollins who she won with wasn't what I would call amazing - Spoony might have been good but we'll never know because he got knocked out so early - all that considered I think she's done well with her celebs.........but given that Ola has won before would they give her another potential winner?...........I'm not sure.

Normally I'd agree but I would have said Holly was a "potential winner" last year - at least before the show started we probably had her pegged as a possible winner.

I am big westlife's fan. Yep Not afraid to admit it and I hope, really hope to see him pair with Flav.(she deserves a good'un).

Really glad he looks like he'll be doing it. I'm surprised one of the Westlife boys haven't done it sooner. I love the idea of 2 of them doing it and a general rivalry going on but can't see it happening unfortunately.

Nicky is probably the most popular member of Westlife with fans and the general public (it's close with Shane mind) so I can see him doing well *fingers crossed*. He seems very likable but he also seems really competitive.

A few people asked Robin and Artem about it when they met them at the DTTM show and they said they find out this Thursday.

The problem with Holly was she was just....... well a bit lazy..... and what with Artem being an uber competitve sort - apart from a few stand out dances - overall it just made for a mismatched, joyless partnership!........I also don't think she had a big fan base in this country either - her pop performing days had been over for a long time..........she really should have been partnered with Brendan he might not have taken her much further than Artem but I think it would have made a more entertaining partnership..........that's why I'm hoping if Nicky does sign up the producers match him with the right partner........I can see him doing well because he will have a big fan base and he'll no doubt have bags of Irish charm, and as we've seen from that clip he can dance........with the right partner I can see him doing really well

Nicky is a good dancer from what I have seen and definitely has rhythm. If he has signed then he will be fairly good imo

Not necessarily - depends on the partnership and hopefully there'll be a few more strong male contestants as well as a few female contenders too!

Lets hope for some very strong females this year to counterbalance the boy band groupies.
