It's currently #1 on itunes and apparently it's the fastest selling single of the deacade as its the first song ever to get No.1 within 12 hours!!

I think that was made up.
BUT if it does become the fastest selling single of the year, it will mean that all 3 of her first singles have become the fastest selling songs off their year (at the time of their release)

Also I believe she was the first person this year to hit #1 on itunes in 12 hours. Not the decade tho

I'm not sure that that's right but what is correct is both the single and the EP are sitting comfortably on the #1 spot on iTunes.

Or do you mean this decade? i.e 2010-

Didn't One Direction get to #1 on iTunes in 7 minutes or something?

To be fair, if 'Call My Name' is the fastest in whatever time it took her, then it's only because the stupid bint took about four years to release the piece of shit.

According to http://digitalsalesdata.com/diydsd.php?Region=143444
Cheryl has sold 40,000+ in 12 hours.
(not sure if that includes the EP)

FGastest selling single?

I'm sorry but the fastest selling single is still AB's as she sold 105k of Hallelujah in the first day on sale. Cheryl's at 40k halfway through the day. Don't think she'll manage the 100k barrier in a day

Also (after a quite frankly awful Jubilee performance) Need You Know is #21 on the iTunes chart

Of course she has!

She is overexposed, she is in the newspapers every single day, you can't not know she has a single out. I can't stand the woman. I think she is slimy, chavvy and probably the worst singer I have ever heard. Her entire career has been from X Factor and kissing Simon Cowell & Wil.I.am's arses. She knocks me sick.

Oh and she's a big headed attention seeker too. Completley vile.

I saw this coming!!

So happy for Cheryl, i a massive Girls Aloud fan and solo GA fan too, and Cheryl's really surpassed and turned a page with this new album/single.

I expect it to sell no less than 100,000 by the end of the week, and this is brilliant. Still a bit worried about the album it's not doing as well in the sales ranks as the single, but this is good.

Well done Miss Cheryl Cole!!

The song's really grown on me. Good effort getting such a fast number 1.

And without the X Factor this time, people said she'd be nothing without it.

The fastest selling song of this decade so far is that Military Wives song, or Matt Cardle's winner single, neither of which Cheryl will beat.

She's looks to be getting the fastest selling single this year though. I think DJ Fresh currently holds the record.

Yeah I am surprised by how little of an impact her album pre order has had on the itunes Top 200.

It will certainly be interesting to see how high the album rises next week when officially released to buy.

A lot of people have ordered from places like Play & Amazon, as the album wasn't on iTunes for ageeeees! Some (like myself) ordered of Cheryl's website etc

I am really happy for her. It's an absolute tune and might be the first number 1 this year I have actually liked.
