You're On Sky Sports - is back

Many of you (who normally watch it) will I suspect have not realised it is back on tonight (Sun) at 10.00pm. And tomorrow - with more to come.

Being the great guy I am I thought I'd better tip the folks off as you'd expect any fine community minded and dedicated Daily Mail reader to do so.

Dislike it. It's phone-in radio on TV and doesn't ever work. For me anyway. The studio guest is usually always so bloody dull as well. Typical fence-sitting ex-pro.

It is rather like having a webcam in a radio studio phone in, in other words, bloody pointless.

Seems "funny" so few people on a football chat forum like this watch it.

Even Paul Hawksbee couldn't breathe life into it.

"'I fink, right Jase, that like the problem with your modern day footballer is like he earns like more than most of us do. Now I'm a cabby I work a 60 hour week and I like work hard for my keep you know what I'm saying mate? There's no way your Rooneys or your Gerrards could relate to that because not being funny of nuffink but they don't have to live in the real world mate"

..level of call you usually get.

We don't get this here. Other than during periods of World Cups and Euros when suddenly everyone remembers football exists and has an opinion. Usually along the lines of the above.

I used to enjoy it when Rob McCaffery hosted it and they had guests like Marsh & McLintock.

I didn't like Paul Boardman presenting it. He always tried to tell crappy jokes and had sly digs at the callers. Plus he was defensive and biased on some topics.

Hated Gary Newbon.

Never saw much of Hawksbee and didn't bother when Cundy started on it.

That'll be nobody then.

Whatever happened to Paul Boardman anyway?

....Not that I'm overly concerned as he was bloody awful.

I thought he was very good. He went back to the news desk for a while. Probably got rid of for some ex-beauty queen ex-public school girl (bit like the policy of Fox News)

Rob McCaffrey was an odd bloke - always with his cuppa tea in hand and excitable. But one of their top men for a while. Where did he end up?

This show is without doubt the biggest steaming pile of dog turd of a TV sports phone in show you could ever wish to see (or not to see).

In years gone by a show like this might have been just about watchable but there's so much media now and so many outlets for fans to openly express their views that you have to conclude they have really had their day.

As alluded to above a radio phone-in show for football is on the borderlines of unlistenable nowadays, but translate that to TV and what chance do you have?

As an England fan I totally disagree. What were you doing at 10.00 the night we played France?

You can disagree all day but why is what I was doing at 1000 on Monday relevant? The show is still shite.

I watch it most weeks, phoned in a couple of times too. It's watchable enough and I still enjoy it.
