Summertime is too obvious for Rowetta. I'd like to hear her sing Englebert Humperdink's 'Please Release Me'
A Luther Vandross song could be dangerous ground for Steve given the sort of comments made by Sharon. I'd like to hear him sing 'Fly me to the Moon' Simon is very fond of emphasising Cassie's age. I don't know if she could pull it off but it might shut him up if she sang Helen Shapiro's 'Walking Back to Happiness' G4 has to be 'My Way' in contrast to Circle of Life. Tabby - haven't a clue really but I'll suggest Unchained Melody just to see the look on Simon's face and to hear Louis' comments. |

Just had a thought - what about a Natalie Imbruglia number for Cassie?
'Torn' or 'Wrong Impression'? I think those songs are a bit more contemporary than the stuff Cassie has been doing so far. I also think she'd be amazing at them.... ![]() 'Callin' out, callin' out.....' |

Some brilliant suggestions. As we get further into the competition, all of them need to be doing songs that are well-known by the (voting) public, and put their own spin on them:
G4 A rousing version of My Way would be ideal, but could draw yet more comparisons with Il Divo (who have included it on their album). Although Bohemian Rhapsody is a popular trump card, it would be strange to chop it up into a two minute edit and miss out the "rock" bit (which, by the way, they wouldn't pull off! )Rowetta After the debacle that was MacArthur Park, she needs to do a proper diva song. There Are Worse Things I Could Do (which was rumoured to be the song she couldn't hit the notes on last week) would be perfect for her voice, or uptempo-wise, I Will Survive would guarantee the public vote. Tabby Absolutely, completely, entirely, 100%, DON'T CARE! Get him off! Cassie Better The Devil You Know was a great idea for a rare uptempo for Cassie. She could pull of any of the PWL-Kylie tracks (Never Too Late too) better than the soul classics and Mariah covers. Sharon, Cassie has a POP voice! Steve I don't know.
