Pickled gherkins
What is the difference between pickled gherkins and dill pickles ? Any info appreciated

I think a gherkin Is a specific type of cucumber whereas a dill pickle can be any pickled cucumber.
Not 100percent but I think that's it. |

A dill pickle is made using dill in the brine, whereas a gherkin is the UK generic name for the small pickled cucumbers.

Dill pickle is the American name for a gherkin, they are one and the same.
Gherkins are the same species as cucumbers but they are a different cultivar. |
