"your incredibly old arent you"

There are now about a billion zillion threads circling around cyberspace concerning whether or not there will be a multi doctor story for the 50th and whether or not they actually WANT 1. I'd like 1 but am concerned that it would be a rubbish story. There's also the problem of actors who have played the Doctor being much older than they were when playing the Doctor, or, well, dead. I've got a good idea about how this could be explained. Say some baddies (should be Daleks, after all it is their 50th anniversary as well) try to prevent the Doctors actions by killing the first Doctor, explaining his absence, and therefire undoing all his future adventures. His existence having become logically impossible, 11 (lets say he's still temporarily existing cos this is a paradox or cos he's in the TARDIS and is a Time Lord) begins to degenerate as his timeline collapses and, almost like the scene in 5.13 where he rewinds, his life goes into reverse, the Doctor changing into each (or most) of his previous selves. The TARDIS could rewind along with him, letting us see past TARDISes. We could even see past companions as well. But as he degenerates, each Doctor is slightly older as time collapses and they begin to disintegrate almost, losing their integrity and facing death. But then at the end of his life, being inspired by his future adventures and supporetd by his other incarnations who somehow become independent and seperate, 4 manages to travel back and atop the Daleks, reversing everything, saving his past and future and preventing it from having ever happened

You could invent some technobabble explanation for 2 and 3's absence by saying they've already disintegrated at some point, maybe the Doctor could be relieved by this as 2 and 3 are always arguing

I wasn't too keen on a Multi-Doctor story to be honest, but I actually really like this idea!
Now, all you have to do is kidnap Moffat, enter his dreams, go down various layers and somehow plant the idea in his head!

I like this, thought of something along those lines myself, but rather than the first being killed, incarnations were put into different timelines where they don't regenerate but age as a human would. The 11th Doctor has to bring each of his previous selves back to his timeline.

Good idea, just question of why. Wouldnt it be easier to just kill the Doctor than put all his selves in different timelines?
