I just don't know, I mean I know she's popular and can shift some records but she's hardly known as a good live performer and is there even much demand for her to tour?

I genuinely don't know so some more informed responses would be nice. I do quite like Cheryl and her latest album sounds good from the snippets, but I certainly won't be rushing to buy tickets to see her show.

Depends how big they make it.

The O2 has a maximum capacity of 28,000, but very few artists use that, often they cover up the top tier of seating.

They can also bring the stage forward and cut capacity again.

The X Factor uses the O2 for its auditions but its setup inside 'only' seats 3,000

She will need some massive sound equipment so that people can hear her, if the Jubilee concert if anything to go by.

If it was Arenas across Europe then my answer would be no. However, can Cheryl pack UK arenas? Yes.

Without a doubt. Her single is the fastest selling this year and its the 3rd time she has taken that record.

Her fanbase is huge whether you like Cheryl or not.

Britney couldn't even half fill Newcastle Arena last year so I wouldn't be too sure

She will definitely pack out arena's, in fact, I was shocked to see only one London date tbh, I would have thought she could sell out multiple shows at the O2, she is basically as big as Rihanna in the UK.

Maybe in 2009/10 as her first album sold close to a million copies but lets not forget her second album sold half of her debut and who knows how well #3 will do

I think this is a reasonabe enough sized tour for Cheryl. Maybe up to 15 dates.

Yes, easily. And looking at the tour dates I wouldn't be surprised if she does a second night in Manchester and London due to demand.

If you're talking about filling column inches, then yes. Filling out arenas, no.

Rihanna singles can get into the top 10 with no promo from her in the UK. I don't think Cheryl is at that level.

I reckon Cheryl can sell the arenas, her fanbase is huge and if she has to she can pull in the Girls Aloud fans too - as a group they were pretty big arena sellers!

We will see on Friday how fast the tickets sell. I'm surprised she only has 10 dates but I guess that's down to the Girls Aloud reunion in November/December time.

It's good that she's doing arenas and not the O2 Academy's.

Maybe in Cheryl's case buit most of the time fans of a pop band have no love for the members as solo artists.

There will be alot of Girls Aloud fans who don't care for Cheryl Cole's solo stuff. Just as there will be Cheryl fans who don't care for Girls Aloud.

I will be very surpised if she does a full on tour in October then jumps straight into a Girls Aloud reunion in November.

It depends if people want to see her live. Liking a song, maybe buying an album, is one thing - seeing them live is another. Why, I bought Kelly Clarkson's album but I really have no interest in seeing her live.

I think all of the dates will sell out before the tour, but I don't think it's gonna be one of those, "I have to be up and refreshing the page at 8:59 to make sure I can get tickets"!

I'm pretty sure she'll be doing some GA song/medley of some sort surely?
