Great scenes tonight. I loved his cute little scenes with Scarlett (no offence but I do prefer old Scarlett).
The last scene was great though. Although I don't agree with what he did, I can understand how she pushed him to do it. I loved the way SJS was straightening his tie and brushing down his suit. He plays that part so well.”

It was such a powerful scene. He shouldn't have done what he did, but you could see how she pushed and pushed him, and basically de-balled him, causing him to lash out in the only way he felt he had left. Not saying it was right, and his behaviour afterwards was chilling. But such a well-acted scene between the two of them.

It's interesting that both times he has become violent with people have been related to his mother - Jean, after she supposedly flushed his St. Christopher down the toilet and now tonight with a Janine after her (heartless) comment about her. Definitely his Achilles' Heel.

Also, the little scene with Scarlett was cute. And, on a completely shallow note, he looked very handsome indeed tonight. ”

Handsome - check.
Cute with Scarlett - check.
Yes, he certainly feels strongly about his mother. And that was particularly mean of Janine, who also lost hers at a young age.

I would think after tonight, that the photos we've seen of Janine at the graveyard will probably be her making sure he's dead and buried and then doing a victory dance on his grave!

lol good outfit and very fitting to his gothic end.

my mum said Janine deserved the hand around the throat after what she has been like. He played that so well. he just stayed calm at the table but you could see he was getting angry. Then instead of jumping up he just stands up and then puts his hand on her throat. The second she mentioned his mum I was like uh oh. oh and of course the smile at the end.

Think we all saw this coming

Glad you like my mourning attire ladies - maybe we can all go for a fitting!

Thanks for the link, Emma. Lucky Jasmyn Banks - bet Jac Jossa was jealous of all the scenes Jasmyn's had with SJS! It still seems so wrong to me for Michael and Alice to be together that way. I can't believe Jack hasn't punched Michael for bedding his teenaged niece!

Oh it's so upsetting
Michael was brilliant as always tonight, he certainly is chilling but very entertaining to watch. Him and Alice make me feel nauseous (much like Michael feels about Janine)

SJS was brilliant again tonight. We had alot more of him which was good
I know I should hate him for what he does (strangling Janine, manipulating Alice, stealing from Jean etc) but I just love him
Tonight reminded me how tall he is too when he was sitting on the doorstep lol

Alice may be the biggest idiot in all of soapland. Michael admits not only to strangling Janine but to ENJOYING doing it and she's still going all gooey-eyed and falling into his arms. I mean, I don't blame her but, still... She deserves all that's coming to her but being such a grade A moron.

I know... when she shut the door I was rolling my eyes but he is so good.

Very Michael centric ep. Had to laugh at him saying scarlett butcher sounds like a Victorian murderer.
SJS really thinks about how he plays Michael, from the way he walks to smoothing down his tie etc. So good.
The scene in the market was good as well.

I'd loved that line about Scarlett Butcher sounding like a Victorian Serial Killer lol

Brilliant ep. I loved that line too!!

SJS was looking particularly gorgeous tonight - I think it's the slightly longer hair.

Great episode - a total Michael-fest! Alice is such a fool. Watching Michael reel her in was an art in itself.

Loved his scenes with Janine too.

Yes, it was a great line about Scarlett Butcher sounding like a Victorian serial killer! Wish he'd said that to Janine yesterday!

Rat poison seemed to be prominent feature in today - the same episode where the Michael/Janine/Alice storyline steps up another notch...

Yeh people have made the connection with rat poison on the main forum....surely not?

Everyone was praising SJS on WW last night

Just read in the Sun Magazine that Michael steals Janine's credit card and orders some pills to slip into Janine's food
Somebody has tweeted to the Sun TV Magazine:
I love Michael Moon. He is so mysterious and funny when he stirs trouble

Okay caught up with Thursday's episode and going to see Friday's in a minute but while I obviously cannot condone grabbing anyone by the throat like that I can understand why it happened - Janine was so cruel to Michael. Despite all his faults, he does love his daughter. I suppose Janine will play the poor martyred victim in the next episode and completely forget to mention that it was only after extreme provocation that Michael snapped.

Janine and Michael are both as bad as each other really. It's difficult to take sides when they can both be so cruel.

Michael is featured in this week's Soap Scoop looking handsome as ever. He's also winning in the poll.
