Left over Roast
I treated myself to a lamb roastie last night
![]() Now, I have a quarter of a leg of lamb to deal with.(Or half of the half leg I cooked IYSWIM) I'll make sarnies and I often chop up the cold meat and use it in a risotto I'd quite like some other things to try... any ideas? |

I don't know how well it would work, but i really like having lamb chops served with spaghetti in any pasta sauce or just treat yourself to another full roast!

Leftover roast lamb - curry it with spinach. Or make fajitas?

I'd have it in a type of saag aloo curry.
It goes very well with spinachy-potatoey curryness! |

Another vote for lamb curry! (and spinach works very well with it too) Delish!

Another vote for curry.
An alternative would be to make a jeweled cous cous with lots of herbs and spices and stir the gently heated lamb though it. |

Stovies! A Scottish dish made with left over meat and potatoes. Loads of recipes on the net. Here's one: http://www.stovies.com/
Serve with oatcakes. Lovely! More a winter dish but with the weather we've been having recently... |

Marinate in a mint sauce and have it in pittas with salad, red onion and yoghurt.

Give it to the dog - he / she'll beat you up with love!
Aside from that, cold roast meat with salad & chips is understated & lovely. |

You can slice it and gently reheat the slices in gravy in a shallow pan. Then serve it with roast potatoes and all the trimmings. It's a Jamie Oliver tip.
And I bet Jamie Oliver got it from his Granny, the same as I got it from mine! |
