Poppy was another pointless creation by Kirkwood. He obviously tried to give the show an 'essex' aspect by pairing her up with Jodie but they were both dreadful, dreadful characters, and now he's brought one of them back.

I'm so pleased to have her back! She really is a breath of fresh air in Eastenders but now i'm torn; part of me wants her to stay on the Square for years and another part of me hopes shes come back so she and Anthony can have a happily ever after. I'd prefer them both to stay on the show as a couple if i'm honest but i guess you can't have everything!

I agree, the show really doesn't need any more perminant young women, with have Lucy, Lauren, Whitney, Alice and of course Abi who's just about 16.
