Those two immediately came to mind when I saw the tread title. Maybe Don't stop me now too. I think loads of christmas songs could be added to the list such as Slade 'Merry christmas everyone' and wizzard ' I wish it could be christmas evryday' and 'i'm dreaming of a white christmas' as well as many others.

I agree with you with Don't Stop Me Now and the Slade Xmas song Speaking of Queen, I think 'We Will Rock You' could also be included on that list

I don't think there's any song everyone has heard but ones that are very well known -

Dancing Queen - Abba
Rocking all over the world - Status Quo
Hey Jude - The Beatles
Yesterday - The Beatles
I Will Always Love you - Whitney
Love is All Around - WWW
The Pogues - Fairytale of New York

I hear the Spice Girls's songs in general very little, considering how popular they were. I reckon kids born in the 00's won't have heard most of their songs.

Recent examples:

Moves Like Jagger is apparently the most played song on UK radio of the past 10 years, so maybe that.

Hips Don't Lie was the best-selling song in the world of the 00's, went to #1 in almost every country, and was performed at the World Cup watched by over 1 billion people, so that's probably one of the most well-known songs aswell.

Surprised no one has gone for the Christmas songs! They are ALWAYS played. Classic example
Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

Also Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
I Wanna Dance With Somebody
