dsi repair?

dsi repair?
hi, dsi special edition bought at christmas from sainsburys,has vertical multicoloured lines on left hand side of screen in gameplay
sainsburys cant get any more of the mario ones and son dosnt want another colour
should we send it off to be repaired and if so where to and if it went to nintendo would it be done for free?

Take it back to Sainsbury as within the first year it's their responsibility to fix or replace.
Nintendo will fix for free while it's under warranty so if you go to Nintendo.co.uk and look at support pages for repair info.

I agree it's Nintendo's responsibility to replace/repair it. I've read a few bad things about Nintendo Europe when it comes to console repairs with regards to how long it takes and poor communication, so you might want to bear that in mind and always keep on their case.

sainsburys say i would be entitled to a refund or an exchange but of course they cant get anymore mario ones, i will contact nintendo, thankyou
