He said he hasn't resigned, but it's upto the club.

This has been going on for a few weeks now.

Levy offered a big contract a few months ago, no doubt with the belief Harry would go to England, and he'd get a huge compensation package.

If he seriously wants Harry out for a couple of months poor results, which coincided with a run of very tough games, it is a sad state of affairs.

Spurs have had three very good seasons in a row by their standards of the last 20 odd years.

Levy has made bad manager decisons before, not least getting rid of Jol when things seemed to be improving, and then bringing in Ramos who was supposed to be at a different level. I hope he doesn't make the same mistake again, but I fear the worst.

Relationship breakdown between chairman and manager or just the press trying to stir things up?

Very poor title for a thread.

Does he really need more than the £3 million a year he's already getting?

You've mentioned this more than once. Does anyone in the PL deserve a pay rise by that reckoning?

What should be the going rate for a manager?

Home games against the likes of Wolves, Stoke, Norwich are not a run of difficult games tho are they?

If I was "earning" £60,000 a week they could play all the "conract games" they wanted.

It's not like Harry has won anything why does he think he deserves more money. Doesn't he know times are hard.

All teams will have had similar games they consider should have been wins. There were some very tough games around those, and some decent performances.

The overall picture for three years meant finishes of 4th, 5th, 4th.

I really think there could be a case of "be careful what you wish for" for Spurs fans wanting rid of Redknapp.

At the start of the season finishing 4th would be seen as an achievable but impressive accomplishment and Spurs did it.

There no guarantees that the next man in post would manage that.

Not all Spurs fans want rid of him by any means, but there does seem to be an element that believes he has taken us as far as he can, whatever that means.

The last manager we had that had taken us as far as he could was Jol, and Levy did the dirty on him to bring in Ramos, which went very well!!

Maybe thats as far as spurs are capable of going? Those fans that want rid of him, where exactly do they believe spurs should or could be?

Bearing in mind to get higher up they would need to be better than city, united, arsenal and probably next year chelsea will be back in the top 4. I cant see it happening, the fact redknapp has kept spurs in and around the champions league spots is a big achievement.

No and it's not every season an English team can win the CL.

I think Spurs were just a bit unlucky.

Redknapp managed to keep the form going OK during the court case so I think the blame for the drop during the England manager speculation lies with the players and the FA for not making it clear he wasn't being considered earlier.

Spurs finished 4th. THat was the 'aim' at start of the season, was it not. Whether you win it by having a crap beginning, middle or end to the season is neither here nor there. The achievement was achieved. There's no justification for getting rid of him at all.

Im not saying Im right but as far as Im aware..Its a new contract and transfer kitty he wants answers to.

As for money if he is asking in for more..then why not...he's been a top 4 manager for the last couple of seasons and brought millions in to the club with his league position finishes and cup qualifying...and Im sure the managers above him are on more,
