Just got an LG passive 3D TV and added an LG 3D bluray recorder and a separately bought LG Home cinema set up and my SKy HD box is also connected.

The problem is, you have to have a degree in engineering to get it to talk to each other! The Bluray especially seems to require such a huge amount of fiddling on 3 remotes for it to work - its an unbelievable kerfuffle!

None of the system integrates and requires such a huge amount of messing about to do anything. I just want to switch on the telly and WATCH IT - or a Bluray - not have to spend 15 mins trying to work out which sequence of buttons to press to get it to work!

Has anyone else had this problem? Why doenst the LG stuff integrate with each component? Is it set up wrong?

Well if you told us how you've set it up we might be able to tell you how right or wrong you are.

Also helps to give the exact model number of the TV, Blu-Ray player and Home Cinema system. Makes it easier to work out the options for connecting it all up.

If you activate the Simplink feature in the tv set-up menu the Blu-ray will select the right playback channel and switch the tv on and off as needed. The Sky box is on its own unfortunately.

How do you need a degree in engineering when you just got the tv? relax bro, it might be troubling at first, but once you get used to it, it will be a lot more convenient. I had a similar problem because I was so new to it, but after experimenting with it a little I got the hang of it. I freaking love it and I hope you will too
