I started watching halfway through episode 1 Laughed so much. It's hard to narrow it down, but i think that my favourite part was the question about the m15 murders, how many were women?' and the prisoner said "ill text him"!

Yes definately a few laugh out loud moments...mainly involving the sister. Although my next pub quiz team may well be called Quizteam Bleakley!

Didn't think much of it to be honest, went over to Father Ted in fact.
Half watched part 2, mildly amusing.
It's no Pulling, I'm afraid.

Not funny in the least imo, her Sister is especially annoying. The only thing I found funny was Quiz Team Bleakley

Bloody awful.

Managed halfway through the 2nd episode before I gave up.

Followed The Thick of It on BBCHD which made it look even worse!

I loved it. I was dreading it a bit because I miss Pulling but this was quality.

Favourite moment so far was the prisoner half way out the window. I gave a huge guffaw. I love how horrible the sister is (basically, a second version of the main character outside, clever) and it's chocka with loads of my favourite actor/comedians - Tom Goodman Hill, Susan Calman, Jennifer Saunders, Edward Hogg - and Julie T Wallace! (hope she has a bigger role later)

The lawyer guy is great. The two dozy prison guards are great (remind me of Mom's sons in Futurama.) I love the way the shots are framed, the music, the women's prison set-up, the writing. Everything. And Sharon Horgan is brilliant. I even watch her in duff stuff. If it goes on like this I'm going to be a very happy bunny.

I can't wait for more.

I am guessing you liked it, I did too. The oddest bit though is the Edward Hogg character reminds me of the Brian Cox impression in Very Important People but only in a good way.

Yeah, I did like it a tiny little bit.

The Edward Hogg character was fantastically creepy. I love how delicious his creepiness was. I have the feeling he might transfer his affections partially to the sister. Isn't that what a deranged stalker would do? And she's going to egg him on while not understanding it at all. She seems pretty thick. The more twisted it gets, the more I'm going to like it.

Not to mention the crush I already have for the deluded bearded hair-sniffing guard who thinks he's a 'woman whisperer'. But that's of long standing, because it's Tom Goodman-Hill.

I noticed Jeremy Dyson was the script editor here. Definite similarities here with his own work, but lighter in tone. It's the deftness, the intelligence and the touch of darkness. I just watched Funland and was blown away by that.

You have given it a lot of thought. I would have "I will kill again" ranting about Bobbo and Mary Fisher just to mix it up a bit.

It took me a while to understand who you meant. She-Devil was a while ago. Ha, Bobbo. What a name.

'I will kill again' has definitely got to get involved somehow on the outside. She's too good a character to just disappear.

Just watched it now and thought it was brilliant. Very clever, very sharp, some great characters.

I really miss Pulling, I like Sharon Horgan's style of humour. Very funny, totally silly.

How could they cancel that and yet put rubbish like Miranda on?

They had one more series of Pulling written IIRC and were going to cut it there anyway.
A fair number of people liked Miranda when it was on Radio, then proved to be popular once it transferred to TV.

Don't know what Miranda has got to do with it, apart from been a show you didn't like.

I really enjoyed Dead Boss. Took me a while to relax into just enjoying the total silliness of it but now I want more! Glad they showed 2 episodes, thought the 1st one was just okay but really got into it with the second one, which I may not have bothered watching if I had had to wait a week.
