V

Has anybody got any information if they are going to ever produce a new series. I think it would be series 3. Series 2 final was where the it was disclosed that the invaders were under surveillance by the government. Bloody hell I need to get a life but just loved the series. I always get the dvd with complete series as the TV versions get fraked by the adverts.

The original V was shown recently on CBS Action. These days it is considered a little subversive for the US right wing, and the remake was to replace it with a version they would like, with the visitors offering 'universal health care' and other socialist measures.

TRhe trouble is, people who might like alien invasion flicks and science fiction, do not particularly want to be propagandised. Also of course the heroine was the awful Elizabeth Mitchell with her annoying affectations. They brought back the wonderful Diana to try to raise the game, but it was far too late, and they badly misused her.

I am afraid that V for Christian right wingers was never going to work.

I watched both series, and tho I enjoyed it up to a point it's kind of right they cancelled it. Series two was just going round in circles. Shame, could have been so much better.

I thought series 2 picked up the pace a lot better than the first. Each episode held my interest and seemed to have some purpose.

At first I was gutted we wouldn't see the resolution to all the cliffhangers but I don't think we missed much really because the way it ended came across very much like they knew they'd be cancelled and just wanted to go out on a crazy note.
