Results - Not In Any Particular Order

I just thought that we should remind ourselves that when the contestants are called out each week - apart from the final two placings - we have been told that they are not in any voting order. So, for example: Rowetta (who was last to be put through last week) could infact have received most votes - and Casssie (who was called first) might have been third from the bottom. As for the final two acts, we only know that they gained the least votes, but don't know which contestants were in last place.

well they've only said "in no particular order" once so how definate that is I don't know. If it were important that it were in no particular order surely they would say it every time...

It's very important that they are not called in any voting order or we would know who was winning the show! I already knew that they were called at random before they told us ( as per all the previous shows). I think their names are called to create tension and excitement. Last week Cassie was first - we all know that she couldn't have gained the most votes and was possibly in the final 2 - but she went through first to make the results more interesting.

However in previous weeks the xtra factor gave the impression that the first to be told they were safe had recieved the most votes. If it were so important that they didn't give the impression that First = Best then they would have made sure they said it every time. They didn't.

I was confused about this as well. It isn't read in order because when the audience are shouting out names, Kate satisfies the audience by calling out 'Tabby' or 'Rowetta'.

It was probably a mistake by The Xtra Factor. If they read them out in order, the audience would be able to work out the winner.

VWS couldn't have won one week and then been bottom two the next. Same with G4.
