Welcome one and all to Friday's 'Daily.


Hope that you all had a good Friday and have managed to keep dry today. I cycled to work in the rain and, despite having sun or cloud for most of the day got rained on cycling home as well

Rain, of course, is not one of my favourite weather types to be cycling in and, to make things more annoying, the weather also decided to throw some thunder and lightning in on the way home as well!


Those of you read / post on the Corrie threads may have noticed a Poll last Monday asking which Corrie characters from the past you'd like to see back.

For my next two Monday 'Daily's I'll be running a similar poll for Emmerdale. So, I'd like suggestions (Via PM) of male and female Emmerdale characters you'd like to see back.

Characters suggested should, if possible, still have some sort of link to the village or some reason for coming back.

All suggestions will be gratefully received and may appear as an option in the Polls.


Anyway, back to business. Full details of tonight's episode can be found below if you fancy a sneak peek at what's in store....

Chas and Cameron are enjoying their time in a hotel room, but Cameron suggests they should venture out as a real couple in public. At the same time, Cain receives a phone call from Cameron's son asking for his dad, and Cain realises that Cameron is not in Jersey. Fearing that Cameron is playing away, Cain starts searching through his belongings, determined to find out what he is up to.

Later in The Woolpack, Cain tells Charity of his suspicions and mentions that Cameron had a previous affair. However, Charity tells him to drop it as Cameron wouldn't hurt Debbie. At the same time, Cameron hears a message from his son, explaining that he tried to call him at home. Mortified, Cameron tells Chas, explaining that Cain will now know he's not in Jersey. The pair begin to panic over what to do…

Meanwhile, Moira is shocked to receive a call about Hannah not turning up to her last two exams. When Moira confronts her over this, Hannah explains that there was no point taking them as she had missed so many lessons due to her dad dying and Holly ending up back in hospital. Hannah adds that even if she did pass her exams, it still won't change anything as her future is set - she will only ever be stuck working on the farm.

Moira is furious, so Holly feels compelled to confess that Hannah feels stuck as she has accepted a job in London. Adam is shocked and when he questions Holly's loyalty, she storms upstairs.

Elsewhere, Justin tells Alicia that she must warn Jacob she could end up going to prison otherwise he will, Paddy and Pearl pressure Rhona to set a date for the wedding, while Laurel intends to ask Ashley for a divorce but stops when she sees the state he's in.

I doubt they'll show it... Ukraine v France was suspended cause of a storm and it's just been confirmed the match will resume at 7.

Update: the match starts at 6.00, so will not finish before 7.45!!! Will ED be rescheduled or will Lewis be taken off to allow for Local News (8.00); ITN News (8.15); ED (8.30) and a 1 hour programme at 9.00?

No double ep is possible on Sunday as the footie starts at 7.15

I'm still thinking they will play ED at 8.30 (ITV+1 at 9.30 = after the England match), and put on a 1hr drama at 9.00

Or ITV+1 at 9.30 (oops, if the match starts at 8.00, you will only see the second half of ED on +1)
