I have seen the US version. She was quite dull and boring. I like her as a musician though.. To ne honest Kelly was way better, better music critique, better fashion, tonnes of personality and bags of sass.. loved her
P.S o have a feeling Nicole and Louis will not get on this yr, nevermind Tulisa

In the words of Cheryl, Nicole is weak, limp and lifeless.

For some reason Im expecting Louis and Tulisa not to get along as well as they did last year in the live shows.

Nicole is the absolute worst. Dull, vacuous, simpering personality. Weak and snivelling critiques, no sense of humour or fun.. She was the worst thing about TXF US last year. Not looking forward to her.

nicole was soo boring on US Xfactor and she'll be the same on the UK
simon just parmed her onto the UK version so he doesnt have to be bored to death with her and her voice
Nicole is very beautiful and probably is a nice person but personally i dont like her as a judge

As far as Nicole's judging....I can't think of one good thing to say, so I won't say anything. But she will certainly provide lots of dramatics and a LOT of FREE publicity. That's the one thing that they didn't get from Kelly and is probably one of the main reasons that Nicole got the job.

amateur dramatics, maybe. i had to laugh at her announcement on twitter, `I’m so excited to join the UK X Factor family. It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle. I can’t wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists`. now where have i heard that before?

in fairness to nicole though, there are three things that i truly admire about her and could never take away from her. her unwavering self belief, her eternal optimism and her talent. lets face it she has had a few knocks what with one thing or another, but she has a knack for landing on her feet. i really hope this new appointment works out for her, itv have obviously taken a shine to her over the years and i hope the uk viewing public do too.

Same here. She is talented, got to be better than waste of space Kelly. Hopefully she will be a Judge who will actually spend some time with her acts.

The problem with Nicole is that the Newcastle auditions will go badly - as far as the public can see, she ousted Cheryl out of her job, only to be fired from the US panel and then taking her place this time around too. Add to that her reaction at Manchester, it's not looking good - of course, they'll edit the auditions to death so you get the best bits, but she'll come undone at the live shows.

I followed her on the US version and she was the weak link of the show - Paula Abdul outstripped her at every point. At least she'll make Gary Barlow look like the life and soul of the panel this year!

Please show some respect ... Gary Barlow OBE. It used to stand for Obnoxious Boring and Exasperating. But moving on from the X Factor and perhaps after letting the Queen stand next to Cheryl Cole, he gets the real OBE. Well done Gary.

I don't think anyone cares about Cheryl on X Factor anymore after she told everyone to move on and Nicole is well liked in the UK.

Oh of course, how could I forget! He joins his protegé Frankie Cocozza STD and his predecessor Simon Cowell GIT

He is a horrible judge on the US version.

But she is a better dancer and singer than Gary, Dannii, Cheryl, Tulisa, Kelly etc.

She isn't a better singer or dancer than Kelly, don't be silly.

I'm not a fan of either.

Dancing, they are similar.

But judging purely by their live vocal performances, Kelly is horrible.

Poor Nicole.. look how she got up on stage, she probably just wanted to comfort the little girl she decided not to save. Wait a sec, when I look closer at the video, it looks like the self-centered moron wanted comfort herself! No surprise, she's always making everything about her. She got up right in front of the camera and started crying as if she was the one going home ... the nerve!

Well, maybe you can't blame her, she did get herself fired that night, so perhaps the crying is understandable.

Getting teared up myself, just thinking back to the day that it was announced she was leaving X Factor to focus on her music career:

hahaha. lmao.

Cheryl's too classy though. She stood up in applause and went "wooooh!!" even as Nicole was torturing us with her screeching about "i got that poison poison poison" or whatever that was when she performed on X Factor in 2010.

However, I fully expect Tulisa "I ain't havin' it" Contostavlos to throw Nicole off the stage this year as soon as she starts peddling her next "debut" single.
