Just heard Gwen Stefani's Album...
Terrible! She's trying to be "old school" and has some wierd facination with Japan. I was kinda expecting it to be good, because I really like "What You Waiting For" (although usually, this stuff sucks to me, lol)
On a whole, I'd say 4/10! |

Purely for her awful, totally ill-considered abortion of Talk Talk's It's my life, Gwen Stefani should be sealed in a sound-proof box and shot into space.

I was actually quite impressed by her album. Quite a lot of variety in there although her obsession with Japan and Harajuku girls is a little strange....

I love the single and if its an indicator of the songs on the album then I'll be buying it.

Go there and search for Gwen Stefani - there should be short clips of it. |

'It's my Life' was a brilliant cover song! Anyone who's heard the album does it sound like ND or totally different??

It's pretty different really. A couple of songs I'd say are similar to No Doubt but mainly different. I don't know if anyone has said yet but at the mo you can listen to her new album on MTVs site.

Had this album for a while
I love Martin Gore's synth pop production Plus I know a very sexy Canadian lady who can seriously shake her booty to What You Waiting For

Listesned to it last night, quite like it. I think Rich Girl (next single) will be a big hit. I think it sounds likes ND's Return of Saturn album.
