Yes ladies and gentlemen, a pig did just fly by my window.

G4 sound like Siamese cats with their tails stuck in a door.

They are cringey, and down-right terrible. Next week Cassie and G4 will be in the bottom. I can see it going like this.

Sharon votes G4
Louis votes Cassie
SIMON votes G4 - because he doesn't like them as they rival his band El Divo.

IF they survive this week, they'll be gone the week after. They won't win. They are outsiders.

I'm sorry G4-clique but they really don't stand a chance. Cut your losses my friends

Well that's your opinion which you're rightly entitled to, but Team G4 shall keep their spirits up and remain optimistic

I think that's a little unnecessary, especially coming from you.

The fact is that these forums are used by people of all ages, and the younger generations have as much right to post here as anyone else. They aren't harming anyone, they're having a bit of fun, that's all. If you don't like it, just ignore it. No-one is forcing you to post on the Team G4 threads, deliberately trying to wind them up.

I know it's hard for you to believe, but G4 do have supporters who aren't still at school, and I am one of them. Don't assume the only people who support G4 do so because they fancy them....

Back on topic, I don't think it's possible to predict who the judges will send home. It all depends on what will create the better television. I would like to see G4 win it, personally I can't see how there could be any other winner but I do think it's unlikely, just because I don't think their target audience is tuning in. If they were there's no way they would have been in the bottom 2 last week. I'm still prepared to be pleasantly suprised though...

At the moment I still think it's between Steve, Tabby and G4. And I don't think G4 will be in the bottom 2 this week

No need to be sorry my dear, I find it hilarious that you care so much about them that you keep having to start threads.

You really are keeping their name up the top of the board.

Thanks

You are so right Spell, I'm not at school either, haven't been for many a year many a decade even but G4 are my favourite nevertheless.

I love reading your posts, they are so sensible and well written. I agree 100% with what you say here.

i was planning to keep off the G string threads, but its hard to ignore the fans when you get over enthusiastic ones popping up all over declaring their love for jon all the time, i left my teenage fawning day years ago, and as a grown woman i think i can get a point over without being to gushy, i dont see the point in a conversation that starts off, isnt johnathon just gorge his eyes are gorge.

.....we do mainly stick to Team G4 thread (that`s why we set up a separate one from the official G4 thread) so could let our hair down and be silly and have a laugh. It is harmless fun and I have noticed you keep coming onto that thread (which you are quite entitled to, of course). But if you say you have a problem with all the "silliness and fawning" then you do have the choice of veto. I can`t really see your problem.

Me neither. I'm a member of various fan sites/message boards, have been for several years now, and these types of threads are found all over it. Sure the odd G4 comment crops onto some of the more mainstream threads, but we have went back to HQ after making the comments...

penny i have kept mostly off the G4 thread, unlike yourself, you tend to pop up on all threads with your love for the G4 group, you were originaly the reason for my stepping over there. comments were made, funny ones at that, little did i know i was stepping into a childs playground, with only gushing comments and no sensible conversation, at the time i did want to talk about louies song choices, i agreed that vienna would be a good song choice, but when i didnt go gooey over the boys and commented on how i percived them all manner of calling started, i may add not from you personally. its like red rag to a bull, i never thought G4 were bad until the brittany number, i am not blind or deaf i can see good points and bad point to all the acts, but some obbsessives just cant see past who they want to win wether they are good or not

I think this is a little unfair, I understand what you're trying to say about people blindly sticking with their favourite and overlooking the level of performance on the night, but it's not exclusive to G4 fans, it applies to all of the fans of the different acts within the competition. In "real life" i'm a massive Stereophonics fan but i don't stop supporting them or liking them when they bring out a single/album that isn't (in my opinion) at their usual standard. Surely that's what fans do? Not to mention the issue of taste, as is proved over and over again on these threads, people have different opinions and tastes and whereas you are lucky enough to remain objective when watching the programme, lots of people support one act in particular and like them no matter what song they sing or how they performed.
I've noticed you on the Team g4 thread and if you don't like the (inevitable) comments about the aesthetic attractions of the lads then no one is asking you to read them or indeed, comment on them.
I can't help feeling that you're looking down on a lot of the Team G4 posters in particular, referring to them as schoolchildren and so on. I loved the enthusiasm generated on the official thread yesterday when one of the posters had met Jon - too right! If I ever met kelly Jones I have no doubt i'd wet myself in excitement. I can't help feeling that the enthusiasm of any fans (of any act) is there to be enjoyed, it's infectious and harmless. There is so much bad feeling and unfriendly competition around at the moment, rather than add to it maybe it would be better if you didn't read the posts that annoy you.

Can I say something in support of Baileybots?

Up until last Saturday it was a pleasure to speak to most of the G4 fans, they understood there are other FM's that don't have G4 as their favourites. From Saturday it has got absolutely ridiculous, every post about Steve has a G4 fan popping up on it saying how much they hate him - the vast majority of this forum know how much you idolise G4, are you that insecure that you cannot read positive comments about another act? You like to read positive threads about G4, why can't others be granted the same courtesy?

To have reached the final 5 all of the acts are talented, not all of them will appeal to you, but please treat every other FM with respect, even if they are not fans of G4. If you have nothing constructive to say other than "I hate Steve" or "Steve is sleazy" or "Steve is so false" please keep them to your G4 thread as it is beginning to become offensive. This is an adult forum, I understand some of the G4 fans are adults, surely you should be setting an example to the younger ones of how to behave in an adult discussion forum.

You are doing your G4 cause absolutely no favours.
