I dont think he did that to make Ste jealous I mean he took Sean there to seduce Noah

Yeah I agree that Ste was jealous but I dont think that was Brendan's intention

I do think he wanted to make Ste jealous with Sean, otherwise he could've just told Sean to come onto Noah randomly, and distracted Ste whilst he did so.

Whereas he introduced him to Ste for a reason, and I think it was to make him jealous.

Ooo no, I agree with tezza on this one. Brendan picked Sean very carefully because he (supposedly) looked a bit like Ste, so Ste would think he'd moved on. He was killing 2 birds with one stone there, making Ste jealous and using Sean to seduce Noah. And it worked pretty well.

The bit that made me think he wasnt doing it to make Ste jealous was the fact that he wasn't happy when Sean was touching him, you would think if he was trying to make Ste jealous then he would want Sean to be all over him. Then that stuff the next day about Sean was to come on to Noah not him

ETA: I don't really think the fact Brendan didn't like Sean touching him was anything to do with him making Sean jealous, but more showing us what Brendan was still uncomfortable with.

He was out with a bloke and it would've been a bit odd had he let Sean touch him all over without problem when he never let Ste so much as hold his hand.

I know what you mean, but back then, Brendan wasn't really completely comfortable with being totally "out" in front of people. Everyone knew he was gay, and he was playing with that, but he hadn't really accepted it, or he'd have been more able to try and follow through when Eileen turned up. So I think he was happy to pretend to be with Sean (arm round the shoulder etc) as long as he controlled it and he set the terms. But Sean groping him publicly had him in all kinds of knots.

He absolutely loved introducing Sean to Ste though, you could tell.

If Brendan only wanted him to seduce Noah, he needn't have pretended he was his boyfriend and put his arm around him and told Ste the Champagne was for Sean. It was definitely to make Ste jealous.
