New mux or space buy up coming soon?

With news that BT & sky have spent too much on football rights ( £3 Bn ) I feel that BT would like to have channel ready for BT Vision and may be top up tv rent ?

But with the DSO finished and space there ready for new muxes for public TV network ( Freeview ) BT could buy the mux up for the football channel and could buy into other pay channels to bring together for BT vision system ...?

So BT vision could be a full digital tv service that Ondigital / ITV digital tried to be with free and pay services plus a return path with internet service too...?

So Ofcom needs to give out TV space back for tv and allow the national digital to grow like it was plained for back in 1998..

I doubt that will happen as BT are already planning and have deals with pay channels to launch then via IPTV plus I'm sure I read somewhere that BT was planning on dropping their freeview channels launched for Sky sports 1 & 2 to deliver then by IPTV also.

No, because there aren't any new muxes available, and whether there will be or not depends on what they decide to do with the 700MHz spectrum.

Highly unlikely for the foreseeable future because the mobile phone companies can pay more than broadcasting organisations.
